  1. I have done bootfitting at Nestors and they are very helpful. However I am constantly tweaking the boot - be it on a ski trip or at home. If I have a problem on a trip I just go to the ski shop and a technician is always willing to help. Ski shops are usually very helpful regardless if I bought the boot from them are not. I am usually buying other gear so they still get my business. Ski tune, Apparel, etc...
  2. 2 rs130's and 2 rx130's on order for PASR members. Any other takers? Jadip!
  3. Perfect setup! Did you purchase the boots through Nestors? Due to limited availability I decided to purchase online before stock was gone everywhere. I would have preferred to purchase from Nestors but there were no RX's to try on. A few online retailers at least allow no hassle returns with free shipping.
  4. I only have 1 pair coming...Kind of excited to get the season started
  5. I just checked their site to see if there was an update on the new lift. HSQ gets you up to the summit in 3 minutes The lift serves 20 of 23 trails. Nice job Shawnee!
  6. Shawnee is very lonely on PASR. Thought I would stop in and say hello.
  7. Anything is possible. If you can believe it you can achieve it.
  8. In 15 years Blue mountain will be renamed GSS East. In 20 years Jackson Hole will be renamed GSS West. In 25 years Stowe will be renamed GSS North.
  9. Switchback...highway to the danger zone...classic. Great video. Blue Mountain forever
  10. Thanks... I tried to add pics of the hobacks but I could not figure out how to insert the pics from mobileme. Oh well pics are never fun...
  11. I just picked up my Shawnee season pass. Excited for the upcoming season
  12. Beautiful. Blue Mountain is definitely picture worthy. Great job men hiking the Apps & taking some solid photos.
  13. Forecast for the next several days has VT staying cool like coors light. Wow ski season is almost here and PASR will be humming with new trip reports. Cheers to a successful 10/11 ski season.
  14. While checking my running log...I noticed October 15th last year it was snowing in Nazareth. First wet flakes of the year are near.
  15. If we are talking rankings, resorts, and food... Deer Valley, Utah should not be left out. Lunch at any of their on mountain cafeterias is wonderful. My preference is Turkey chili with all the fixins and carrot cake to wash it down.
  16. I actually prefer AJAX of all 4 Aspen hills. I guess when I ski by myself I seem to have the most fun there. Snowmass is expansive and you could spend weeks there and not get tired of it. Highlands is fun to change it up with fast groomers, legendary highland bowl, and a bunch of tree skiing that never gets old. I can't wait to get back. I would love to meet Batman in Aspen for some good skiing and eating. I would take Batman for breakfast at the main street bakery(ham & cheddar omelette with a side of bacon), lunch at the ajax tavern(colorado lamb bolognese & truffle fries), and dinner at little annies(full beef stew & apple crisp). I think he would like it there.
  17. Somebody once told me... life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get
  18. Wow...Aspen sure is getting it's share of love in this thread.
  19. What a joke. Blue gets overlooked again.
  20. JADIP
  21. Damn.... I will probably miss JH this year as those dates are not steezy. I was planning on Aspen in January, JH sometime in February (can only go around the 9th and later), Aspen in March. Boring I know but if JH doesn't workout maybe I will make a trip to CA or UT instead. I am sure the TR's will be EPIC with or without me.
  22. Nice thread bump. I am pumped for Aspen. Yesterday I had some free time and was reliving the Jackson Hole thread. Good times and better times ahead
