Just got back too. Conditions were pretty good, and I only saw some small areas of death cookies.

I'm cutting school tomorrow. Unless for some odd reason I change my mind and go to school, I should be there when most of you are there. I'm leaving mid morning maybe around 10ish.

I come already dressed for skiing. i just need to put my boots and gloves on thats it. Out of all the times I've put out my sneakers (good and old ones) on top of the lockers in the main lodge, they have never been moved or taken. They have been out on top of lockers during busy holiday weekends and everything, and nobody took them. Kinda shocked me that nobody did take them. I do notice though that when I sit down to boot up that the staff thats cleaning the lodge will take shoes and stuff stored under the benches to lost and found. But if you put them on the top of the lockers nobody bothers them.

I always boot up in the lodge. I refuse to wear my boots in to the lodge from the parking lot.

Can't wait.

I was there for a paryt last December. I didn't ski it but I stayed at the hotel there and saw it. It looked like they had good snowmaking (they better, thats where HKD originated from), they have nice natural bump runs and stuff. It looks like it gets really crowded on the weekends though. Judging by the size I'd say it compares to Bear Creek if you ever have been there.

I'd say no. They probably won't do it because its going to be warm early this week. Plus right now its probably border line of making snow up there. I think its going down to 28

No. Nobody around here atleast was open this early last year. Nobody has been open this early around here in a long long time. NY and the other New England resorts were open around this time last year (I think). I know Killington was for sure, but if I'm wrong someone correct me.

Shawnee made some snow too. Just thought that I'd point it out if anyone cares. December 2nd is still the tenative opening date.

That sucks to hear. I didn't really think it was going to happen anyway. But still, I really wish it would have!

K2's would probably be decent for you. I have a pair of the Axis XT's, but I think the Apache series took over the Axis line (sib would know for sure, I think she has or had the Axis XP) I don't know if Volkl still has the Energy line, but if they do consider the Energy 320 or 420. I think Emtp563 has the Energy 420. All of the skis I mentioned before come with the Marker Motion bindings. If you don't want them, you can also find the versions of them without the rails for the motion system.
