Doh, I just bought a pair of Nordicas a few weeks ago.

Yeah right the only time I'll ever get there that early is next year when I can drive up myself. Believe me as long as I don't have to work that early I'll be there and ski 50+ days a season.

I'm going to be there tomorrow in the afternoon/late morning. I might go up tonight to, I was supposed to but what a shocker, I don't have a ride. My mom was going to take me after I got back from plowing snow, but she says its "drifting" and I should wait until tomorrow. I bet it was great today, when I was shoveling it was so so so light!

Saturday for sure and either tomorrow night or Sunday.

Yeah, I think it was last year was the one time in how many years that we had dry enough snow to call "pow". But it was all gone after a few runs.

Couldn't get a ride, thats why! Next year will be different I won't have a rotten permit. I said it before and I'll say it again it blows when you are the only person who skis in your house, I'm lucky to get out and go in the winter.

I still laugh about that to this day. That is the worst excuse that you could come up with for them to close. Last time I checked ski areas liked when it snowed. Funny how everyone else stayed open and they closed. Also, didn't everyone get ticked because they groomed all the fresh snow in too? Regardless, it was DaveK's fault. He made the call when Dunkin Donuts decided to not open due to the snow...

If they are closing you'd think he'd let things go for cheap. What happened is he in high debt with the ski area? Or was there a lack of skier interest? The place kind of reminds me of the old Apple Hill down the road from me.

Papa, ask how much for the groomer! If your serious about buying a real snowugn, find out if they are selling any HKD's. You could easily get the air power at home you just need to figure out how to get the water supply. Not to hard if you think about it. If they are selling HKD's let me know how much if you decide to buy one, I'll make sure you don't get ripped on the price.

My friend Tyler did the showdown comp last season. If I remember correctly I think he took second in his age group (I think they went by age goups).

For those who went, did you see if they had the ski check open? I'm sure they did but I just want to make sure before I show up without a lock.

Nice, when I actually had the conditon report idea I wanted it to be on the site like this. But hey the e-mail is great too! Its much more convienient to check it in one spot then checking each mountains site.
