I know, I sure did get a deal on them and I know I never would have found them cheaper anywehre. When they came the sticker said they were selling them in their shop for $849. I went into Nestors the other day, and saw them selling my old skis, K2 Axis Xt's same year for more than I bought them for a season before.

Yeah its kind of like the skis I bought off of ebay. I paid $329 for them with bindings shipped to my door. I wonder what it would have costed at a shop...

Early skiing, I guess we will have to take what we get or wait for Bellayare or K-mart to open.

Yeah I saw this on TWC this morning. I was getting dressed deciding whether to wear shorts or long pants when the drool came out of my mouth seeing the snow come out of the guns.

Skierboi, I take you read the post on the snowguns fourm about woodbury? I think its cool how a place in CT is able to open up that early becasue the cold air gets trapped in the valley.

I'm watching the forecast trying to see when I can start up the guns. Looks like I may have a chance in October to test them again this year. Looks like it starts to get cool October 8th around here. BTW, Papa did you ever get my PM? I was suprised I haven't heard back from you its about the snowguns. If not let me know I will send you another.

I think its for real. They usually start blowing around this time of year. Its also usually to see who is first to open in the nation.

A-basin and Loveland are both making snow. Loveland has been making it for the past two days and I think A-basin had just started. I wonder who will open first. Won't be much longer for us, Saturday is October. Bring on the snow

Papa, What they are asking for, is just wrong. No friggin way that thing is worth over $700. First of all it only makes more snow because you need a bigger gpm pressure washer or pump. It is the same design as their original one however it has another bulk water nozzle to accomadate the larger flow capacity. Its still cheaper to build your own. Its just a combo gun with another bulk water nozzle.

ole2planker, Where do you plan to ski in NV? When I was out in Las Vegas last Feburary I wanted to go skiing in NV, but I only went to Park City. Originally I was supposed to ski both but my lame uncle got "sick" (more like he missed his mom)

Yeah Nestors has good seasonal rentals. A kid I know when he was younger always rent from them and he always got the axis skis. They were great and he never had any problems with them. The plus is they are shaped skis.

I don't know that either. But I'm sure it has the temps on the link they provide for the weather.
