Ok when I see a lolipop I stop or slow down to read it but thats just me. They shouldn't put closed on a lolipop because what if some idiot doesn't read it? At least with the tape there is no excuse why you are on a closed trail because you went right under the tape delibertly, but on a lolipop what if you are in the middle of the trail or in a spot on the trail and can't see the lolipop then what?

Perhaps maybe they can replace the lolipops with the banner tape that says CLOSED all across it. Thats what blue does that way there is no complication.

Well I am well over due for a ski trip this weekend because I haven't been on the snow since 12/26 and thats when my dad got hurt. I was wondering who was up at blue lately because I was planning on heading up tomorrow night and maybe either on saturday or sunday or both days. I was wondering what the snow is like, any bare spots, ice, etc. Let me know.

I'm no park expert but even if blue doesn't have a good park like bear creek does, I would get the pass to blue because they will be open longer and earlier than bear creek will be.

Yeah I know what you mean allian boarder, my friends all got passes to bear and I told them they are making a mistake because when it gets warm bear always gets screwed and has to close. Plus they open after everyone and close before everyone. I also told them how when the pocono mountains make snow bear cannot always blow. All I heard from my friends were "well blue has a shitty park" "blue is expensive" "bear creek has a hotel now""bear creek can cover the entire mountain in 3 nights of snowmaking""bear creek has the coolest terrain park" I'm just going to remind my friends that when I'm still riding at blue and they are all stuck at home watching bears snow melt, and thats why I will never get a pass to Bear Creek and besides the mountains too small for my pleasure.

Just seeing this now...One of the guys I rode up on the lift with the other week at blue was telemarking he wasn't real old so I don't know if he is the same guy but he said he usually goes to cb because he lives up in Tannersville, I wonder if this was ICE PINNER from the cb message board.

Anyway if any one on here gets the morning call newspaper there was a nice write up on ski area safety enforcements in yesterdays paper on the front page of the local section. They even had a pic of a ranger on the next page steering off traffic after a snowboard accident...and guess what 2 of the rangers that were in the report were retired state cops...I always just thought that was a rumor but I guess not.

Went and stepped into blues lodge yesterday and turned around and left. It was sooooooo crowded yesterday and had people who couldn't speak english everywhere. Talk about a waste of gas oh well I stopped at the blue mountain drive in for a cone on the way home but my mother was ticked for driving me there and then I go home right away.

I noticed for a few years now there has been like a crossing from razors edge straight over into the woods towards paradise, also when you go up the quad they have a rope fence there...what is it last season I saw a snowmobile in there but I don't have a clue what it is? Atomic...lol I was thinking the same soon they will outdo camelback and have the most trails and vertical in PA but could you really count trails like connector and other short trails as trails lol.

I'm not sure but I remeber last year some guy on the lift at blue told me he bought a discount ticket down at acme. We used to have an acme up here in allentown but it closed and it is now a staples. Zaldon- There is a acme down in quakertown right by the nestors in the same shopping center. Also a bunch towards philly I believe.
