I know the glare is so bright it looks like snow. I remember when it got real dark it looked like there was snow on the ground and for a minute I actually thought it did snow

Got a call from my uncle. Told me to go on the webcam and watch for a truck to come out at the base of the mountain and then watch what happens. Waited about 2 mins and the lights came on! Brings a tear to my eye

Yeah I agree my uncle is a snowmaker there also. They won't start making snow until they are sure that the weather is going to stay cold. They also don't start blowing until the ground is frozen rock solid and I know that for a fact. That is why shawnee always loses snow at the end of the season because they don't allow the ground to freeze before they make snow. There is a strech of cold weather beginning next week but that is marginal if they will start they probably won't. Its like 1 in a million chances they will open the last week of november. They will open early december like usual.
