Ya since it's considered "recreational establishment" they are exempt from the normal minimum wage. I worked @ Blue for 4 years in high school , and came back part of last year and Was making $5.90 lol

I understand that they would want to completely level the Summit lodge, but why would they add a massive expansion right now, and then level it down the road?

I personally don't see too much terrain expansion in the near future. I believe most mountains are focusing on other things such as re-designing the lodges, lifts, ski school areas etc, and adding water parks to make the experience better. It would have been awesome if the ski resort proposed for Eldred township out near Kunkletown about 5 miles East of Blue Mountain would have went through, except the company went bankrupt.

Most likely base it out of the Valley Lodge like snowboarding, or set up a tent, Blue loves tents.

I did the opposite lol, when I was 15 I started snowboarding since I became bored with Blues Terrain. Usually when I go up to the mountain I'll ski for a few hours until it becomes horrible and then I will snowboard haha..But good luck man, diffidently worth the try and it's just another new skill that you can learn
