Any help with booking trips out west? Any good websites for ticket and lodging deals? Any links to help with mountain comparisons? Any information/help would be appreciated. I'm not getting my hopes up yet, but some wheels are turning...

Today was rad. I didnt think the conditions were bad,... It must've really softened up after you guys went in?

Only had one chance and messed up the second 2, oh well. First upload to YouTube ever lol.

Today was a blast! Beautiful weather, really fun snow and no lift lines as late as 12. Cousin and I got in 14 runs this morning. Besides the lack of open terrain it was a great day.

Can confirm. I dont personally have it but have 2 friends that have Youtube TV and love it.

This post made me look into Belleayre for the first time. Looks like a fun/unique mountain. Parking in the middle, loong terrain park cutting thru 10 trails and a gondola @ 3 hours away from me? And only a $60? Ill definitely be going this season.

I had no idea where to put this so ill just leave this here......Hole lee f*** "We are thankful to report that no one was injured in what was a scary episode for seven skiers and riders in two gondola cabins," resort spokesperson Myra Foster told Unofficial Networks. "A break in a snowmaking pipe on Lower Standard sent water at a 45-degree angle toward the gondola. Snowmaking computers showed a drop in pressure and operators immediately began the process of shutting down the system. "The operations team simultaneously stopped the lift, restarting it slowly to reposition the cabins. Approximately seven minutes later, the gondola made its way to the summit where guests disembarked." The gondola is now running normally, and resort officials are using alternate pipes in the network to continue making snow, Foster told Unofficial Networks.

Beater cars can be very reliable. I also want a car that's better in the snow. Will also make the "should I risk driving in the snow" decision much easier with a car that's A- better in the snow and B- not worried about messing up my only car.

I don't have a "good" reason other than like I previously said: Ill enter them at the end of the year.
-
C1er do you pay for the "Slopes" app? Ive been using this app recently and really like the different stats that it keeps.
-
Ill enter my total number of days at the end of the year. Id currently be in second place with 19 days, but Ill be quickly passed now that a lot of you ride nights at Blue.

Thanks! My cousin has driven 2 times, so that's helped a touch. To be honest the driving isn't that bad. I like waking up early and the drive there is kinda therapeutic: super early in the morning, no cars on the road and an easy drive with next to no turns (and anticipation!). Sit back, relax and do a lot of thinking. The ride home can be tiresome but I try to ride the "high" of a great day of riding for most of the car ride. haha. However, I have been thinking A LOT recently about picking up a beater car before next winter. My car is by no means very nice but I feel sh *t putting soo many miles on it. Plus it would open more possibilities in regards to snowdays....my car is not made for the snow. lmao.

For sure and thanks! Haha, Remember sitting on the lift opening day at BB and me saying how Hunter was one of the big factors in getting this pass? At that time I would have never expected to ride here this much. Doing well for me indeed.

Yes sir. 3 trails, "overlook", "rips return" and "Rusk Road". Rusk road is damn near flat and nothing more than a way to stay at "Hunter North" and avoid getting onto Zephyr Express quad (Hunter West).

Hello all, just got back from another great day at Hunter Mountain. Rolled outta my place a bit after 5am, made really good time and was in the lift corral by 825. I could tell that it was going to be busy by the amount of people already in the lot and lift corral. I originally planned on going tomorrow (Friday), but the weather is looking terrible so I decided today was the day. 32 and sunny all day, perfect! snow conditions were varied with a lot of really really nice man made snow but unfortunately many spots on the mountain were scrapped off and icy. First run was down "Jimmie Heuga Express" so I could duct into the woods for a quick safety break, then down "drop off" which was my first time since its been previously closed. Second run was "Belt Parkway" to the brand new, recently opened "Hunter North", the largest east coast terrain expansion in 15+ years! First run was down a blue "Overlook", LMAO this was not a typical blue. It cleared up the term "a hunter blue". I doubt the picture will do it justice. I took 5-7 runs over at Hunter North thru out the day, definitely very fun trails. Oh by the way the new 6 chairlift "Northern Express brings you 1000' of vertical in 3 minutes and 40 seconds! Thru out the rest of the day I pretty much hit the whole mountain, The main face, Hunter West and Hunter North. Obviously not all trails were opened but I covered the mountain. Oh! They fully opened the summit lodge! Not just bathrooms and first aid anymore, but a full Cafe/Restaurant serving anything from coffee to ribs! I saw my Nazareth friends again, this time at the lodge and sorta ate lunch with them. Ill get a picture next time but this place was pretty cool. Thanks for reading and some pics below. Coffee/safety break... Top of Hunter North and the new lift from the existing trail "Belt Parkway" Bottom of the new lift at Hunter North... Idk if the picture will do it justice, but this is not a blue! lol And finally my total "stats" for the day.

TLDR. -
Woke up at 6 to check the weather and saw it was snowing at blue so I ignored the rain at my place and rolled out around 7. Got to the lot at 820 and in the corral at 837 and caught up with a few PASRs. The first hour was fantastic with 1-2" of fresh snow, no lines and a bunch of PASRs. Unfortunately, it started raining/sleeting around 945ish so I called it early. I was just stoked to get a few runs in. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Getting lucky I guess.
