I was hesitant to ride Hunter today but when I walked out my door into a steady rain, I had a feeling I made the right decision. I left my complex at 5 am and drove straight to Hunter and pulled into the lot at 7:52, 38° and a fair bit of fog. Ran inside real quick, back to my car and at the lift corral by 815, first chair. PASR up in this b****. While inline waiting a lady said "Brian Westbrook, my favortie player!" Turns out she and her family are from Nazareth and spend their weekends at Hunter during the winter. Very nice family, made the 15 minutes go by quick and invited me to join them at happy hour lol. Hero snow all day and you could quickly tell that they lost a lot of snow, however they did open up some of Hunter West which included a highspeed quad, a double diamond and a blue. The blue "Overlook" was really fun and I went back a few times. Holy sh*t the double diamond "Claires Way" was just a bump run....but the bumps we literally the size of a VW bug. They also finally did a full park build, props to Empire. 12 runs in I took a lunch/coffee break and back out on the snow for 8 more runs. I downloaded a new stat tracker app that im pretty happy with. I started it 1 run into the day and did a total of 20 runs like youll see below. No lifts lines to speak off outside of maybe 2 runs, again the singles line is clutch. At one point I see 4 Mountain OPs/Snow makers, all twentie somethings redneck/back mtn (with all due respek) looking mofos seemingly having a blast..naturally I think "I gotta ride up with these kids". Yo, theses cats were a riot! For their sake ill save the details but by far the best lift ride ive had in awhile. F*cking hilarious. Today was a freakin blast. Usually im content with leaving when I do. But today, even after 20 runs I wished I wouldve stayed for a couple more.

Finally a chance to write a couple sentences about last night. Great time at Blue last night! After driving the whole way in a light rain and hitting a bunch of traffic I wasn't too excited to snowboard TBH. I saw Phillycore and briefly spoke to him then got suited and booted real quick and took 2 quick runs before heading back to the lot to meet up with my cousin. By this time Jeff,Ridge and Doug were in the lot finishing getting ready. The run of the night for my cousin and I was Lazy to Falls with great snow on both trails with little side hits all down lazy mile. A little slow, but I think that has to do more with my board than the snow. Like Tuesday, no lift lines, good snow and good people, cheers.

Sure, no problem I circled it in red below. They're going to need some more snow for them to be "good" again. Last weekend I went in there and quickly realized there wasn't a lot of snow compared to the weekend before.

Great night tonight. Made decent time on the drive and was on the snow by 530. Very first run I bust my *ss in the come around park, right to the hip. A very verbal "ouch" was let out while laying on the snow. After my 7th run I see NM,GSS,Jeff and Shadows and took 3 lift rides, 2 runs with them then 3 more by myself. Pretty damn good conditions all around, beautiful night/ blowing snow like crazy and no lift lines/ No complaints from me. Story time- I was coming down Homestretch when I noticed NM,GSS,Jeff and Shadows all standing right next to each other at snows edge, eventually all see me riding toward and right past them with my hand high in the air for high five annd.....NOTHING. Thanks guys, thanks.

Thanks Toast. No worries (seriously)!! Being asked and saying no is mindless now, I don't even think about drinking anymore. Hence how I forgot my "anniversary" lol.

Thanks. I stayed at an Aunt and Uncles for a couple days and quit cold turkey. I went to AA meetings for a few weeks but stopped going because of how negative and depressing they were. They work for others and that's great, just not for me.
