Finally got my first day at Bear of the season yesterday for a quick 90 minute session. Nothing of note that hasnt already been posted by MG or Mixi. Going to be a ROUGH next 2 days. Hopefully they can survive till we get some snowmaking temperatures back.....although im only seeing lows of 26/27 degrees so hopefully they can fire up those nights. Gonna be spicy 🤕

Santa sprinkled some Covid in my stocking so I haven’t been up to Bear yet. Hopefully this weekend.

Picked up my pass this evening. quiet mountain. Just a heads up they WILL NOT be opening on the 22nd. The lady at the front desk said they’re are not aiming for Saturday.

Lower main turned out to be great as the morning went on and it softened up.

So this is legit? Hard to tell will the amount of trash posts on this board these days. Decent deal as it pays for itself in 3 trips and I think I already have a 2 day weekend trip planned in January.

Incredible opening weekend. Huge props to blue for being able to open with the amount of terrain they did. Rain stopped yesterday at about 915(?) and was spring conditions for the rest of the morning. So fun. I thought conditions were good today as well. Little scrapped off? Sure. But still able to grab an edge and carve. 10/10 opening weekend. PS @enjoralas, Pops and I got first chair and didn’t have to wait at 830😂

Also, cranes down and it appears we have an upper terminal.

Seems like they are still missing a piece of the lower terminal. Specifically the end piece, or the "U" piece. Both side pieces have arrived but I dont see the end piece. Could be there in the lot I suppose, but I would assume it would be staged with the other pieces.

Just checked the webcam and that's absolutely a crane up top.
