The first boxes were sliding real nice. The two flats at the bottom were getting a little sticky throughout the night but nothing that you couldn't handle, overall in good shape. The down box was also real smooth. Was my first time at Boulder and i was impressed, definitely be back there again this year.

Well i would imagine it was something involved with the sale. One of the people i heard about it from is a lift supervisor for Sno.. so i really don't have any idea. That's why i'm asking here.

I've heard from more than one person that Sno is locked into a deal with PP&L that does't allow them to blow during the day or something along those lines, but that they are trying to get out of the deal. Anyone know more about this

Also happened to my friend last year at Camelback. We went to the guest services and tried getting him a new ticket and the lady kept giving us hell saying that it wasn't possible for a ticket to fall off because they had tested them under many different conditions. After about half an hour of arguing with the lady that we weren't trying to screw them over she took us to the ticket window where we purchased our tickets and asked the lady working if she remembered us buying a ticket. She said she remembered us and they finally gave him another ticket. I don't know if the lady actually rememered him or was just being nice, but it was definitely a frustrating time.

I only saw one new gun when i was up there last night. It could have been due to the dark, but the only one i saw was a tower gun positioned right near the lift shack at the bottom of the bunny. Didn't see any where highball and mainline are together, and none at the tops of the diamonds. Also couldn't see any of the movable guns anwyhere.

It doesn't seem like they are blowing a base, but rather just testing the guns out. I hope i'm wrong. I don't see any chance of them opening up for the 15th either. Next week doesn't have any low temps under 30, and is also calling for rain. They should have been blowing the past couple days to get a base, but they didn't. I'm going to say no opening for the 15th. weather Maybe you can subtract a few degrees thinking it will be colder on the mountain, but it's still pushing it.

Just got back from the Sno. Was sitting in the parking lot and the first gun turned on around 11:10. Approximately 7 or 8 guns on Whistler, and a few that appeared to be on the path you would take to get from the bottom of upper fastrack back to the Iron Horse.

All the lights are on, but still didn't look like any snow being blown. This was at 9:15ish. Was 29 degrees near WNEP, obviously had to be a bit colder up on the mountain.

Alright thanks for the info, usually try to keep it no higher than 75 on 55mph roads. We'll probably be taking that route.

On mapquest the t-pike way is 47 minutes, 81 is listed at 52 minutes. We'll take the extra 5 minutes and not pay for tolls. We are poor teenagers . But what's the speed limit on 115?

best way to get to boulder from scranton area, while avoiding the turnpike? Looks pretty straight forward to me..

did that, i'm about 95% sure there wasn't any snow being made when we were there. Drove up the cinemark road and check it out from the businesses at the top of that road, went up the the mountain itself, and down past newswatch 16, none of which yielded any sign of snowmaking at all.

But aside from that, i'm not getting what your problem is? Secondly, who cares what the "interior" looks like

Well drove up and there was no snow being made. Guessing maybe it was just a test to see if the guns were working. It was 23 degrees in the parking lot.

shit i just drove up davis street and didn't see any snow clouds so i went past glenmaura course to go home instead of going up and checking it out. It definitely doesn't look like they are blowing from the road. I'm going to go up now and take a look.

Looks like inner layers for the pants and jacket Friday.
