Picture of the goggles: goggles Picture of the boots: Boots I'll get a picture of the pants up too.

Well i don't expect much response but i figure i'll give it a shot here anyway before i throw them on ebay. I've got a pair of Burton Freestyle snowboard boots (size 10.5) worn for 2 seasons, not really much wear on them except where they are a bit cut up from the lift rides. Also a pair of black Bonfire pants that are in good condition, size medium i think, but i'd have to double check that as soon as i can find them.. . Also have a pair of goggles (blue) , i think they are scott's. Also think i have a pair or two of pretty low budget goggles to sell too. They won't interest any of you but if you have a family member or something that rides with you a day or two a year it's a possibility. And low budget i mean about $5 . I'll get some pictures up or more information on anythng if anyone is interested. Trying to gather up some cash for a new setup this year, show me some ?

interesting..it has a different phone number and everything. The-house's website seems to carry more companies that are small names, whereas the pro site doesn't. Don't know what the two sites is all about, but thanks for the info.

The consensus on risers seems to be that they reduce (some say drastically) the "board feel". I've never had to use them so i can't give any personal opinions. Did you check into those boots from the links? I believe the salomon F series will take you down in a size too.

i may have missed it somewhere, but what kind of board do you currently ride one? And do you know the waist width off hand?
-
What angles do you set your bindings at? And what percentage are you going to be freeriding vs park riding. ex: 40% park, 60% freeride. My agent takes on white lighting no problem, can rip down cannonball without a second thought, and slide any and all boxes and rails in the park (aside from the dragon box because that thing is vicious, but that's my riding not the board ) . The flag is supposed to be close to the anthem but for riders with bigger feet. The anthem is geared slightly more towards freeriding than the agent, but it will still old its own in the park. I'm recommending the Flag just because i have a Rome and i have 0 complaints with it. I don't have any first hand experience with any other boards.

also, i'm not sure about your money situation, but if you are willing to get new boots too you can get boots that shrink your size a bit. http://www.eternalsnow.com/prodinfo.asp?nu...le=DC+PARK+BOOT http://www.eternalsnow.com/prodinfo.asp?nu...SUPER+PARK+BOOT http://www.extremesports.ltd.uk/snowboard/...uct157-1378.htm Go to a shop and ask them if they know of more boots like that, i'm sure they are out there. As for the board, I'd probably go with the rome flag or the capita mid life. I'm going to be picking up a capita stairmaster as soon as i get the money, or the stairmaster extreme if i get a little bit extra cash.

schif take a look at this link, its a list of all the wide boards that Eternalsnow.com carries. http://www.eternalsnow.com/products.asp?de...Wide+Snowboards

read up on the atomic alibi, I've only heard good things about it, but never rode it myself. It comes in a wide version also. I'd recommend a rome agent or anthem for you but your boot size will take those out of the option i think.

Start a new thread in the gear section about what sort of board you are looking for and I'll continue the talk in there, don't want to clutter up this thread.

well i've never heard anything about the nemesis so i can't give too much input, but if you check out this link, it doesn't look too geared for the park. If you go to snowboard.com and make a thread in the snowboards section of the forums and have them name you a few boards that will work for you. Just make sure you leave your height weight boot size etc in your first post. There are a lot of people over there have lots of experience with all different types of boards. http://www.proboardshop.com/9857k2n6zzk2ne...ssnowboard.html edit: If you are set on that board, the site i posted has it for $439 also with free shipping, and it comes with a pair of sunglasses that "retail for $80" haha if that interests you. But i would read up on a few more boards first if you are looking for an all around board.

If shopping at the-house I'd definitely look at another site to compare prices before purchasing. I've dealt with eternal snow and i was satisfied, except they charge for shipping. proboardshop.com has a big selection and says free shipping, but I've never ordered anything from there. Why are you looking at the Nemesis?

thanks

i tried taking a quick picture on my way out but it didn't come out that well go i deleted it. When i was there, there were a few pipes laying on the ground and a trailer parked at the bottom of bunny with maybe 8-10 snow guns on the back of it. Anyone try getting a pass yet? It doesn't look like they are set to make them but the lady from the office was talking to someone and i didn't feel like interrupting.
-
Yeah i'll be stopping up one of the days, most likely going to aim for lift attendant but if i don't get that i'll just be sticking with the job i have now. You seem to have your hand in the pocket of a couple people with your emails and such, you should try to convince some people to give the workers a season pass instead of vouchers
-
are you applying there? if so where at
-
Is that welding snow making related, or are you talking about rails and boxes?
-
The olympics and montage/sno mountain are two totally different things.
-
i doubt it is going to happen for this season, i don't see many improvements being completed for this season. Hopefully they'll get some snow guns in and a couple new features for the park, that will keep me satisfied until next season.
-
Well i don't know much about "racing", or if you are talking about the "team" i have in mind, but the team was certainly big enough to scrape all snow off of boomer or smoke in minutes. And when they were around there were actually lift lines at Montage

Juggernaut was a fun run, aside from the one stretch that i didn't have enough speed to complete, but i only had to hike a few feet to the top of the next hill. I heard Juggernaut is only like 6 miles now or something like that, why did they close some of it off?
-
There isn't anything wrong with the whaletail, they should just keep it and throw it into a beginner park, it's 1 less feature they don't have to pay for. All they have to do is hack off the end of it and make it a regular rainbow box. I like picnic tables if there are at least 2 end to end. Up at smuggs we robbed a plastic table from one of the lodges and carried it up to our condo to hit after the lifts stopped turning. I don't see a point in throwing any of that shit away, it was our whole park was last year, why not throw it all onto another trail for a beginner park.

They exist, i believe directional twin is just referring to the board being similar in shape at both ends but favors one side (the front) as the dominant side to ride. True twin is the exact same on both sides.
-
That's what i said a while ago. It's obviously going to be smaller than last years park if it is only going to be half way down the mountain
