  1. Yeah unfortunately..Maybe next season they will make a push to open one earlier in the season. It would be awesome to see a top to bottom run but, that'd take a whole lot of snow and effort. Not to mention how bad my legs would be burning from a run of that length. The course is some of the most fun i've had riding in a long time, i hope they bring it back bigger and better next year.
  2. Or they could leave the boardercross alone because it's a fun ass time.
  3. Then are you planning to go watch him in person method..? That's if he's still suppose to show up, i don't know
  4. Long Haul was not overhauled this summer. It is a faster moving lift than Iron Horse and Shuttle, thus the "faster long haul" quote.
  5. Amazing...i just got home from work and i can't seem to find a lazy river, a non-running lift, a shitty park, or a ski rental tent in front of the lodge. You must be talking about a different mountain.
  6. not too much room..
  7. I always try to add "but i could be wrong" in my informative posts even if i'm 99.9% sure the information is correct. That way i don't get ripped for posting information that changes after i hear about it..
  8. I'm pretty sure that's for the Ziprider, not a ski trail , but could be wrong.
  9. Know the code: 1) Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects. 2) People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
  10. probes on there now..
  11. The park on mainline was revamped this afternoon...not totally sure what's up there i didn't get to ride today but at least: -the x-box (double C-box) -down rail -another box of some sort, i think flat down -and a jump towards the bottom There is probably more, but someone who actually rode the park today can make any updates that are needed.
  12. like the last picture in my post..?
  13. - A nice jump line, maybe 5 mellow tables in a row, something like this but obviously suited for skiing and riding: http://www.alpinemountain.com/Copy%20of%20wpe42157.JPG ( big picture) - as already stated, have some wedge jumps...something along the lines of the jump on mainline last year, but on a different scale(s) -throw in some "unique" features not just the stock planet stuff that dozens of resorts have...you guys cut down hundreds of trees over the summer, it only takes one to throw down on top of a spine, or sanding one down and making a jib out of it. -park passes. If you don't know what that is a brief summary: Can't ride the park (say the "main" park) unless you have a pass, which is obtained by watching a video or something along those lines. Used to weed out those parents that bring their children down the park zigzagging through obstacles and jump landings. You want a safe park, this is one step to reach that goal. -Have jumps with two lips, one smaller, one larger. -buy the planet rails that have round coping... Lots of pictures of nice park setups and such here, take a look: http://snowparktech.com/info/photos.asp
  14. They are like your typical teenager in high school...waiting until the night before to start writing that 5 page paper.
  15. first try
  16. Yeah, i'm going with 8 too. I don't start work until monday so i can't ride until then...want to get me a comp pass?
  17. they were operating on 5 pumps instead of 6 from what i hear because one was broken...but that's no excuse, obviously.

  19. It's like a damn coo coo clock..won't shut up.but i'm just getting peoples hopes up for nothing

  21. Any www's left?
  22. update from the lift department: supposedly Long Haul is going to be open everyday this year, staffed before the bunny hill. We'll see how it plays out.
  23. and have your gear ready by friday
  24. The hours should be the same as posted on the website. And there isn't a little bit of stretch...montage/sno opens with day/night skiing. Night skiing will start happening on Saturday if they open (which they should).
