Falling is just about non existant for me unless I am in the park doing something I am not 100% comfortable with... IMO I could see myself dead in the park WAY before on trails.. Even back country. I cruise for style and carving not tuck blaze down Razors. But if I do end up on my butt as I am sliding I will turn towards the Mountain and dig my Board in to the snow to stop and it works like a charm.

I am 27... and my Boss is 43 he's been Snowboarding ever since it became a fad. I'm sure as long as I dont jack myself up to the point of no return i'll be Boarding till i phsyically cant no more.

I have no need to stop to strap in... If I am riding by myself or with fellow riders using Flow's or K2 stepins we just ride off the lift and strap in while still riding. Flats are a different area. I want to make a contractable pole that slides in to its self kind of like a billy club does so it's compact when you dont need it but im too lazy to try it.... I'll just waddle which is most efficent or I'll unstrap, walk and re strap in only takes 6 seconds and I can do that while riding. Stepins are the best. I started my Winter love off as a Skiier BUT I tried Snowboarding 3 years later and fell in love with it sold my Ski crap later and never touched Skiis since. It's been 12 years since I Skiied. No wait I lied and my facts are wrong! I'ts been 10 years since I Skiied. Ever since Blue allowed Snowboarding.

Lines allllll the way back to the snow = More money for Blue to add/upgrade the resort! Bring it, I like to see Blue jammed on Holidays and even on certain Weekends it gets packed. All I see is $$$ not people Blue updated and Closed at 2pm today. A Detachable Quad to replace the Double-Double wont happen. Burma chair dosent get used much besides weekends and holidays. They just use Main St. 100% of the time, Burma is 35% or less. Unless they have money spilling out of thier ears a Quad isn't in the future.
-
No, they don't. Guess just having the "BMRT" Blue Mt Race Team is good enough for Blue the true.
-
He is sponsored last time I knew. Not by blue doug lol. It's disgusting how good he is, and only 20. He was gone for 7 months at his internship in Disney so that explains his absence from pasr.
-
That guy getting inverted on all of sidewinder is rodeo Steve..... He is the blue mountain prodigy. Cork 9's and double backs like nothing. He is just showing off lol.
-
Morning sessions are good as long as your out by 10. Thought blue wasn't going to be a shit fest today that's why the quad wasn't open at 8 so when the crowds moved in the quad opened at 10.... Then it broke as soon as it opened and took about 15 minutes to fix it. Challenge lift broke for 15 minutes to. I wouldn't recommend going to blue till after the holiday, Unless you can make it for a morning session like I said before which is a okay, the crowds usually show up by 10ish give or take 20 minutes or so. Shit show all week once crowds show up. It's going to be an interesting week. Luckily I won't have to see it after tomorrow

Eh, whatever. I never said I was smart lol.

The reverse side has a real grainy profile picture and says what type of pass it is day pass/season pass/employee pass.
-
I just took a look at the pass under a 100 watt bulb with a cover around the pass to block out surrounding light. Do not punch a hole in it. RFID chip is underneath the picture just about right behind where your face is and it's about the size of your pinky nail and there is a 4 strip antenna that runs the whole outline of the card about 1/8 of an inch from the edge and runs about 1/2 inch in to the card.
-
Going to be even worse today.
-
Well then somebody punch a hole in yours then go to blue and if it works reply about and and everyone will do it. They say there is an antenna in it somewhere, all you have to do is put the pass up to a bright light and you can see through it and where you can punch a hole.

Actually blue is closed till 12:30 because of the wind. They will give an update before 12:30 if they are going to open or stay closed. They said as soon as a report comes in of calmer winds they will open. Sustained winds from 25 to 40 highest gusts to 50. Wfmz says winds won't really let up till 5pm.

29 inches in Elizabeth, NJ. That's crap. Allentown 3 inches.... Lame. Elizabethtown, NJ that is.

Totally, I hate gapers that hate on the mountain because it dosent offer 5 star accommodations, you're at a Ski Resort not a Ritz Carlton you baby. Wipe your ass and get over it. Blue Mountain is a terrific place to Ski, Snowboard and Snowtube. People expect so much out of it and when their expectations aren't met they piss all over it and say how horrible their experience was. Bastards.

FYI, she is pregnant... Or she got reeeeallly fat in the stomach area lol. Somebody knocked her up. No skiing for her this season.

Blue posted this on their Facebook page. Thought I'd share. Currently some people might say that I am

I know what you're saying, but anyone that would have the courage to hit it would know what he/she are doing. Accidents happen and I landed on my head last year but it's a cushion landing it hurt but I just shook it off and kept at it. I'm sure if that was on snow I would have been in the e.r. It still could be dangerous if that person is careless and inexperienced but it's safer than taking it right to the snow.

Take it to the bag before breaking your neck on the snow. Yeah season pass is 125$$$ or you can also do a 4 jump package or a 6 hour session.. I forget the prices of the packages but are reasonable in price.
-
Hell no the jump is SWEEEEET. Straight bomb the drop in and you make it to the middle of the bag it shoots ya about 25 feet up and 30 feet out. Jump is 18 feet high. Park Cr

This just in from Blue Mountain Ski Area. I am watching Blue mountains maintenance men FINALLY fixing the "cam". Congrats on alllll the complaints people had sent in someone put there foot down and said something needs to be done......... Only after 4 months..... One guy in an orange bucket truck with 4 guys standing and watching lol. Someone quick check is it working I can't see!
-
Hey alright where should I start. Well I clocked in at 8:23 for stoke and went to work. Not so much action going on so I took 6 runs while being on the clock which is a sweet deal since my new boss says if it's dead take some runs... Nice. Snow is okay. Slow as shit. Wind didn't help either. That gets a minus 6 on the stoke level. Had to bomb everything to keep up a good pace. So no slow carving today if you want to make it anywhere. Hopefully it hardens up a bit later for my after work runs. Big air bag opens at 4 today hell yeah bitches! Anyone going up today be aware that the snow is slow.
-
Big Air Bag on the side of Central Park. Need to make a lot of snow for the drop in to make the 12 foot jump and clear the 20 foot gap to hit the center of the bag.

Excellent day I must agree. Arrived at 10am left at 1pm mountain was considerably vacant for an early/mid day session. Challenge was still closed at 1 though grooming was complete and some people went under the rope to take advantage of the nice grooming. I was disappointed that challenge wasn't open. But JADIP, great day. Looking forward to more trails opening for the weekend.
