  1. They will develop a vaccine. When? Idk. The fact that the majority of infected folks have mild/moderate cases means our immune system can detect and beat back the beast. This contrasts with HIV which left untreated means you die. And they still have not found a vaccine for HIV
  2. Because Fauci essentially said you gotta be ape-shit stupid to think it did
  3. John Hopkins site...
  4. I dunno. Maybe see how rural meat packing plants fare
  5. Except the last 20 min [emoji51]
  6. GSS, I think you will like this, especially after an edible or two! I’m lmao!
  7. About to. Then walkies! Happy Friday!
  8. Thank you Captain Obvious. I have been hawking the John Hopkins site, I encourage everyone to take a look. You can drill down on infection rate per capita. Two things you can take away. One- there are large swaths of the country that have very low rates and can and should be opened up economically with some common sense restrictions in place. Two- there are areas that in no way no how should be opened up. I get no sense from you that you are ack Acknowledging that. Over 7k dead in jersey alone. Ultra slim my ass
  9. To date, jersey has 121,190 positives. Among this population, 7,538 have died. That’s a 6% mortality rate. Now because of insufficient testing we don’t know what the real numbers though. (And yes the denominator is total state population but come on) Ultra slim potential ? Pass me what your smoking.
  10. Wellfleet Oysterfest is cancelled and that does not happen until October. Fauci said count on covid coming back again this fall. To what extent is anyone’s guess.
  11. Self inflicted or wife inflicted?
  12. Yeah Murphy said one of reasons was folks just crossing state lines
  13. Curve in jersey is starting to inflect a downward trend for positives (used average of last 3 days). But >6770 deaths is way way to much. State parks opening this weekend for walkies. Playgrounds, picnics, restrooms still closed though (as is proper)
  14. Want to point out majority of Americans support the shutdown https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/04/23/843175656/8-in-10-americans-support-covid-19-shutdown-kaiser-health-poll-finds
  15. Good point. But Plasma, not blood. And still investigational. Remember, not all AB’s are neutralizing
  16. Some batshit crazy theories going on here. Props on verbing “tinfoilly”. I liked that one! Medical comment - blood transfusions can in no way treat covid 19
  17. Yup that sucks. This whole pandemic sucks
  18. Ya got nothing to worry about until you see the refrigerator trailers parked outside.
  19. I do now (last few days). Don’t really need it for the most part as I try to stay away from high pedestrian areas. But cyclists actually do suck at giving you space. Actually more of a statement thing I guess. Yeah I look weird but this is the new normal for a while. Gets lots of stares but I stare back and wave
  20. Welp, did not see/hear them. But on a positive note, my mask-tan is starting to be on point!
  21. Less than that for a week. This happened after they eased lockdown. Talking about re-implementing the lockdown now.
  22. Germany‘s Ro rate just climbed above 1.0 after being
