Ok, figured I’m not getting any younger so booked BC touring for Sawtooth and Pioneer range with Sun Valley Guides in Idaho. First time BC so yeah, I made every BC mistake out there but SV guides where friggin AMAZING! Anyhoo,one day as a shakedown and 4 days out of mountain yurts. Because of lack of recent snowfall made finding goods challenging but with guide oh yeah it happened (sawtooth getting 8” as I write this[emoji38]). So if I had to pick one highlight was dropping 1200’ couloir and aprons off of heyburn. Finding “cold” snow Getting ready for 4 days out back Bench yurt and don’t leave your edibles out! Steve will eat them... Heyburn summit and lunch No heliphant rescue needed! Summited yo/yo ma and dropped gunbarrel couloir Final return and view from fish hook yurt Hot tub! View from pooper!
