Thank heavens for Subarus and snow tires. 45 min from Whitehall. 145 was complete shit but roads got better the closer you got to blue. If your far away, stay where your at. Snows not going anywhere.
-
Price is right for sure. I will be the rider of the glop/storm tomorrow! Returning home Sunday. Regardless, enjoy JH! Hope it pukes snow for you

As I was leaving for dinner a John was escorting his date in...
-
Not at the Whitehall Ramada...
-
One of my ski buddies want to know if there is anywhere to get discount blue tickets. They are from north philly area

Run of the day was when I was going down paradise around 4:30 today a groomer was coming up (to help out on nightweaver) so I had a 10' wide stretch of fresh soft cord. Like my own private piece of Deer Valley!

Go to the accuu weather forum and look at some of the clown maps. NAM is insane. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but the moisture this storm is carrying is pretty crazy
-
Yeah, but in all probability it's gonna be a blend of this and the lower amounts the euro is showing. All depends how things set up Saturday. Could be a bomb or bust?????
-
-
That is just one model and the Euro has been the southern outlier last couple of days. GFS and NAM are farther north so more poke snow. We'll find out Saturday...
-
Sussex county not in the sweet spot. MC will get less than blue
-
No AT advice but if your in B-ton eat here: http://www.farmhousetg.com/ And if your down Stowe-way then eat here: http://lostnationbrewing.com/

You got a friendly neighbor you can park your car at the bottom of the hill? PDOT gonna be out there anyway...
-
Wind gust predictions are mostly coastal so LV in the 25-35 mph range which should be ok for lifts, but still semi sucks for snow drifts (driving)
-
Smart

Good luck with that. A PIA but worth it if you can make it work
-
Yeah, I thought of that. But I have to shovel out the Mrs... I will be at blue this Friday and probably leave before it gets good. Saturday is Tbd. Winds are going to be sick. If the storm is a fast mover I may get to blue for a sloppy evening session. But currently not progged to move that fast. Probably come back on Sunday so it's lookin like I'm missing the goods
-
Super tight snow gradient north. If current current models hold (big if) CB can easily get 1/3 of snow that blue gets and it looks like elk is totally fucked
-
No arctic air so gonna be heavy snow. Winds will be insane. Blue is totally in play still. My worry is I won't be able to make the drive until Sunday. Will be a sharp snow cut-off to the north
-
Still 4 days out. Models will change again
-
Pretty much all in play but you gotta be careful as the base is not deep. I got upper Lynx just after they dropped the rope. Fuckin surreal! Don't know why fall line was open but paradise was not as they are right next to each other. Maybe because of the waterfalls they want more base cover??? One day later and I'm still on cloud 9

Don't know which way you go but I had a spicy time of it descending on rt 17. Just the initiL drop next to MRG heading west
