  1. South Carolina is looking at 10"+ of rain even with the storm ots
  2. Other models coming round to the euro! Still low confidence but euro been calling ots for a few days now. I got a uber important meeting Monday, don't need this
  3. Purchased gas tonight for generator just in case euro is wrong
  4. A lot of bells and whistles with those boots. Those boots are race-boot stiff. Nice purchase, congrats
  5. Replaced cracked Langes RX130s (3 yo) with Dalbellos krypton fusions. My first 3 piece boot. Got new footbeds too
  6. Before they renovated the top lodge there were public bathrooms downstairs next to the day care. No one knew about them. Never a line even on the busiest of days. Gone now with the renovation- probably Barb's private throne now
  7. WF is mostly eastern facing and south trails off of lookout mountain facing due south so it can be beat up late season. That said, woods off of little WF are north facing.
  8. Are ptarmigan a common sighting (excluding chicks in tow)?
  9. Upper east branch of Delaware, water temp is 45F. By 2 PM it dissipated somewhat
  10. Someone in my town skis, Apparently...
  11. Headed to Catskills for fishing this weekend Upper Eastbranch of the Delaware Fishes were caught Beautiful scenery noted End of the day walk back to the car
  12. As a young'in did the Euro pass in Spain while backpacking. Madrid to Malaga and a lot of short hops back. Everyone on the train smoked (tobacco). Was really enjoyable though
  13. Same here and good vibes for your upcoming parts replacement!
  14. Wow. Following this thread is like a case study of ADHD
  15. Been traveling a lot for #2 son lately; Boston Thursday/Friday for school visits and rugby tourney Saturday at Randalls island (between Manhattan and Brooklyn) so kinda tired. Woke up early and saw temps were 19F at Palmerton so lounged around at the homefront. Eventually made it it up to blue by 10:45 ish. Initially firm but by 1 or so bumps on chute and nightmare were superb. My wingman Indiggio is cavorting with his family in northern Vt so ran with the other bumpers. Saw justo and Rose from double as I guess they were going over to check out the pond skimming (nice crowd). Near the end of the day caught up with mbike-ski who is incidentally very patient when he tried to flag down mr space cadet here. A lot of the conversation among the bumpers was where the great Blue mountain diaspora is going. Me thinks Killi is on my mind Been another great year at Blue mountain and I am lucky to know so many great people there. Until next season, Tay Tay says be well and take care
  16. Burke was our go-to mountain for prez weekend for years. 2k very also so not that small. However, not in greens and does not get the microclimate greens do. Hence pond skimming is this weekend. Also, this time of year, Jay is not glacial (at least after morning thaw) but yeah I have experienced what JL has spoken to many times, get off the lift and shortest route to the trees or else!
  17. This. Plus I don't wanna ski camelback. Sad Tay Tay... Back on topic: my regrets. #2 has a rugby match on Randalls island this Saturday so even an AM only session is out. I'll raise a cold one to you folks after the match
  18. I did not get one red light driving back through Nazareth on 248 which only happens once or twice a season. That is TS worthy!
  19. Great day. In penance for lousy trip report I hope you all accept this:
