Sure that's NM/DW they're blowing on and not Paradise? I think they'd put more effort into getting Paradise open before NM/DW, especially for lessons/beginners.

I'm surprised they're opening Chute! Probably to take some heat off Midway.

We did the 4th and 5th grade ski passes which were nice because they let the kids experience a bunch of different mountains. Mine eventually chose Blue as his favorite of all that we skied. After the passes it had been season passes up until the point he started working at Blue for his pass. Once in high school it's been ski club to go with friends.

Double's lift lines are going to be halfway back up Main Street.

Who knows? Perhaps they're just trying to get something, anything down to cover the ground to get more trails open faster instead of trying to build a huge base? They can deal with bare spots later.
