What's up with the cobblestone lots too? How long is it going to take for water to get into and under them and frost heave them all over the place?
-
Probably would have been had it broke down on Sidewinder. Now it's just a race obstacle.

Still looks like the winch-cat is still at the top of Razaors too... Barb got no $$$ for maintenance and/or parts?

Agree. I don't know why they've left them for so long other than knowing the weather was going to be shit Sunday and decided not to put the effort into them. Usually he sets them for Fridays or Saturdays, probably depending on time, forecast, desire, energy, amount drank previous night, etc. -

No, attendant there wouldn't allow us to. We had to pike it up the small training hill. The troughs were glacial yesterday. They hadn't been reset since last Monday. Hope he resets them Friday night. -

Just because it's there and never rode it before. Yeah, they don't have the actual jumps built yet on top of the landings, so we were just hitting what will be the knuckles and catching air of that. I presume they'll round the knuckles as they're pretty pointed right now and will send you to the flat with enough speed. I wonder if they can blow a whale on the landings and then push it our or do they just blow wherever and push up the jumps? -

Bumps were horrible all day, so it was lap Razors all day since we don't normally get to ride it. Also because it was so empty in the morning, you could do high speed runs and catch long air off the rollers and Razorback which had a nice inside lip. Also did a lot of laps through Sidewinder to get some big air off the landings. Best groomer day of the year so far with surprisingly good snow and even rode the triple for some extra GNAR points. -
Indeed! Yeah, they need to round off the knuckles or short landings are gonna be bad.
-
Along with your fur-burger? Have you hit the landings on Sidewinder yet? If not be forewarned, the SLOW message written in the snow (probably gone by now and no, not in yellow) is for real, especially on the last one. The lip is sharp and if you carry hardly any speed you will catch a fair amount of air. Went over the first two and thought the third would be the same, but NOT!

Definitely not until close. Pretty drenched right now. Fearing the drive home. -

Ride up was fine. Snow is very nice and grippy and the place has a fair amount of traffic. Due to race. After a few runs the rains have started and has been making visibility very difficult. Right now 6-pack is running but empty, probably due to ice, but the quad is still running. -

A truly spectacular day at Blue. The bumps on Main were filled almost to capacity with new snow which made them wonderful to ski the entire day. Got the gumption up to give the tele-skiing a try. I've got new respect for those guys and now I know just how bad a tele-skier I really am! I'm sure mountain man Jake got a good kick out of me biting it numerous times on Paradise. It was a new and definitely fun experience. -
Nice! I actually enjoy all the rollers as they provide some fun air time. May need some thinner footbeds than your old ones.
