Cool! Do you have any problems with your hands going numb? I've always wondered that about apehangers. I've not noticed it doing that any more than any other bike I've had. However, I try to avoid the snakes as much as possible because they to tend to wrench the wheel much like frozen cord does with a ski sometimes!

Could be a pretty ugly day Saturday. I hear T-Storms are in the forecast!

We did Killington Monday. Trails and snow were in excellent shape from the little they got on Friday. However, lots of trails still have very little or practically no cover. It was amazing to see people trying to navigate the few pockets of snow separated by lots of rocks, sticks, etc. Outer Limits was spectacular as you could actually get an edge. Crowds were non-existent. I think we waited 1-2 people deep at the gondola and nothing anywhere else. The drive home yesterday was crazy, with snow the entire way through New York state. Must have seen 10 cars facing the wrong way on the thruway. Having missed the storm by a day didn't help the drive home either.

Yup, unless there's some other people in line ahead and nobody else working, it only takes em as long to run the credit card through and snap a pic.

Actually, with the lack of natural snow and warm temps this year, it's been nowhere near as crowded on weekends as previous years. Last year, after we got a bunch of snowstorms, the lines would be out almost to the pavement at the bottom. I've not seen the lines anywhere like that this year.

Yes, last night's conditions were pretty good, except that the fresh mixed in made for some slow snow.

Some mountains are requiring you to go through an online test to get a certificate. If ski patrol catches you in the park multiple times without the cert, they'll lift your ticket.

Oh yeah. I'm sure they're hurting (along with all the other eastern PA mountains) this year. With the warm weather and rain this past week and lack of natural snow, I'm sure people are thinking there's just nothing on the mountain. Better for passholders, but I'm sure they're gonna try to recoup on season pass prices this year...

Just remarkable conditions despite some of the crappiest winter weather in a while. Nice, soft, carvable snow on almost all the runs right from the get-go. Got to do some fast runs down Razor's before the race team closed it off. It and Challenge seemed a bit harder than all the others, probably due to the lack of skiers on them, which made for some fast snow on them. Made a few runs down Sidewinder to see what's what. Couple sets of down-rails down to the big jumps. No picnic table as other years. The big jumps look to get bigger with each jump down to the big wall. They've got a big lip at the bottom of the wall, which made for a lot of people biting it by getting hung up on the lip. Down from that they've got the wood wall tucked in the corner. Next to that is the Teflon table. Out in the middle is the big tire. Down from them is the big cannon rail and another booter next to it. Continuing down are another couple sets of rails. All the jibbers were happy now that the park is open. Just couldn't believe the lack of crowd. We stayed until 12:15 or so and there was nary a line at the 6 or the quad. The doubles only had 1 running and that was like a ghost-town. Main street had nice soft snow and Switchback was also beautiful. Just an absolutely wonderful day at Blue.

They probably just don't want to have to guard any cars down there...

Yeah, you know as well as I, that when the weather starts to warm, people stop coming out and it doesn't pay BM to stay open.

Guess I got my answer: BM Twitter say's it's gonna be opening tomorrow.

Wonder if they'll be able to get out the big air bag this year???
