It was one wild weather day, you name it, it happened: rain, snow, sleet, graupel, sun, clouds, wind. Conditions were surprisingly good and turned great as the temps came up. Coming Soon was definitely ROTD as it was a 'ok, one more run' type day and my legs are paying for it right now. Nearly perfect spring slush bumps.

Indeed! The season opens with WR(s)OD and it's just befitting that it ends with the same. Splashing through puddles, meadow skipping over the grass and through the mud, it's all part of the sliding season.

It's great that Blue keeps it going until the very end, hopefully the new management will continue the trend into the future. Skiing on those last weekend days, hopefully warm and sunny, with dirt spots and mashed potato snow is what makes spring skiing so much fun. People dressing up, parking lot tailgates, hucking off all the little mounds here and there, crazy sights like people trying to ski 2x4s, etc. is a total blast and nobody's worried about conditions or the amount of snow, etc. because you already know the conditions are going to be shit, but that's part of the fun.

Rumors are that since tubing won't be open, they're going to farm snow from there. The word too is that they're going to seed Razors with bumps!

Today was an absolute riot! Everything from the jorts to the various outfits and equipment. On top of it all was all the gourmet food prepared by the one and only @enjoralas and the creme brûlée to top it all off!

Just put some metal HVAC tape on the edges!

Was gonna head up but got stuck on marathon conference call. Beer and 🔥 instead…

Unfortunately so does 70+ degree weather. 😭

I revolted against Blue for this season's locker after they jacked the SP price last year for the same amount. The convenience of the locker didn't justify the price anymore. OMMV.

Finally made a RAW session last night. Saw @MrsSnowBunSki looking for @mbike-ski and she sounded pissed, but didn't see mbike anywhere. He was probably hiding from the wrath of something he did or didn't do. Still soft serve with lots of sprinkles and chocolate sauce, but felt the beginnings of it starting to firm back up towards the end of the session. ROTN was Barney's, just kept lapping them until the legs fell off. Finally got to witness the new LED lights on Coming Soon. Wish the entire mountain had those lights!
