  1. Forgot to mention that there are a lot of skid marks around. Unfortunately temps don’t look like they’re gonna get low enough to blow anything and there doesn’t look like there are any places to farm much snow. Tomorrow’s gonna be interesting…
  2. Arrived in the upper lot around 7:20 to pretty much an empty lot, more/less. A few minutes later Rodney, @tarponhead, @Benm, @Mixilplix, @JFskiDan, Rick and Slim arrived, bringing a light shower in with them to add to the dense fog. Later on, @mbike-ski, Nikko, @mute1080, Ryan, Boo,@Dirtwolf @antman12and some other bumpers showed up to take part in the fun. Walking out to the rope drop in a significant rain that stopped shortly after and only a couple of very light showers fell the rest of the morning. The snow was spectacular, soft, edgeable, the fog on the other hand was thick, dense and relentless. Early on, lower Main had some good visibility, but as the day went on, the fog kept moving lower. The snow was soft enough for us to set up a couple of bump lines on Midway and Lower Main which broke up the monotony of avoiding the crazies out going full speed in the fog and then wiping out in order to stop. Peaced out to the parking lot around 12pm for beers. Was definitely worth getting up for and the trip. Best snow conditions of the year so far. JADIP
  3. Temps continued to rise and snow turned corny, soft and bumpy.
  4. He can't for his real job anyway.
  5. Evidently now they do.
  6. Mainly how they get drug test results. He doesn't mind, especially with the hours he works.
  7. Yeah, he was trying to finish paperwork and get some skiing in, but red tape is giving him grief.
  8. No. My son went through it, snapped the pic and sent it over. I didn't actually get to see any of it.
  9. Evidently Blue must like us. Picture from Blue Mountain new employee slide deck...
  10. All skiing before President's Day is bonus...
  11. I'm still wondering if they knew about Blue being run by a woman and if they didn't include her because the mountain had been sold?
  12. Kept waiting to see if they'd show Blue...
  13. It's a must ride! We take it a few times a season to get back to the doubles when the quad is down and the 6 is packed.
  14. Looks like they want to have school hill open for the weekend.
  15. QFT! Especially with the big influx of cashola.
  16. @GrilledSteezeSandwich can pick up some good stuff from the Allentown Farmer's Market.
  17. Yeah, nothing wrong with a thick, hefty piece, but it definitely has to have a good "crust" on it with some gooey, soft, deliciousness in the middle. Cooking the hell out of it is akin to a well-done steak.
  18. Let's hope so. Plus the warmer Friday temps should help as well.
  19. When we were out there, someone bit it at the top, yard-saled and sprinkled parts all the way down. He slid to the bottom and was then trying to walk back up to retrieve his stuff. He’s probably still walking up!
  20. Yeah they more you wear them, the better they form, especially wearing them spring skiing when everything really warms up.
  21. With all the dealings that I’ve had with Intuition liners, I’ve been told to ski in them a few times then have the liner heat molded.
  22. Also just remembered that having them done at a shop, they’ll have toe boxes that they can put on your feet to expand the liner in the toe area a little, if that’s an issue.
  23. I've read about people doing them in the oven at like 200-250', but I've not actually tried it. You can get them done at Blue, but of course you'll pay for it.
  24. Lehigh Valley Clays. Pretty cool place built around an old quarry. Lots of fun.
  25. I always thought it was made with shine.
