  1. I always take passport and driver's license on flights. I keep the passport buried in my carry-on just in case something happens with my wallet. I also only take one credit card in my wallet and put one other in my passport for the same reason. Had to renew driver's license, so bit the bullet and got the RealID done. Always take everything (wallet, keys, etc.) out of pockets and stuff them into carry-on just prior to going through security. The only thing that gets me all the time is forgetting to pull out the big rechargeable USB battery.
  2. Like she has any pull! 🤣 I'd have a better chance sneaking in and having my son vaccinate me!
  3. All filled already
  4. Only skied the one line the day they seeded them. The other lines had some BAD sheets of ice that made stopping impossible. We were having too much fun skiing in the trees off Burma to bother with Chute that day. I heard they improved substantially the next day or so when it warmed up a little.
  5. If Blue decided to give up seeding bumps and prohibited us from making our own, I'm sure there'd be a mass exodus.
  6. Pay for parking, prohibited tailgating, annoying mountain speed monitors, trail & lift layout, overall vibe.
  7. Can't say from personal experience, but Blue made no effort to keep its best groomer/bump seeder on staff and he subsequently went to Camelback and has been seeding bumps there all season. He was the one that would seed Razor's at Blue when the racing season was done. If it weren't for all the other issues I have with Camelback, I'd consider getting a SP there for the bumps.
  8. Except the amount in my paycheck!
  9. And this is what the new season pass price is gonna get you, pay more, get less, the 'Murica way.
  10. @tarponhead Pickles!
  11. Maybe some of the crowds will go elsewhere!
  12. Done the "Getaway Special" route too. Stay over Friday night for early Saturday flight and secure parking at the hotel for the week with hotel shuttle drop-off/pick-up.
  13. I showed my wife what "Titty Sparkles" are and now she texts me when she sees them!
  14. Teams is a nightmare of epic proportions. It's too disjoint and confusing to be useful. I find OneNote to be useful, however.
  15. He obviously didn't watch the Jackson video on how to self-arrest... Doesn't look as steep as Tower Three at Jackson, but that may just be the camera. Why would you bother with coverage being so thin? Just to say you did it? You're just begging for a snow-snake to grab a ski and toss you. Rumor has it they even lurk in Burma woods and they're nowhere near as steep, just ask@tarponhead Definitely a doer given enough snow. Looks like fun!
  16. I'm always so realistic.
  17. Yeah, and unfortunately they won't put the extra $ they make into blowing better quality snow, improved grooming, staff, passholder features, etc.
  18. They most likely didn't include all the racers in their numbers either... At one point in the morning over on the quad, a BMR coach was doing the gating. Wanna take a guess at which groups got preferential treatment? However, there was a race to be run.
  19. @tarponhead and I were contemplating doing just that today.
  20. Took an early run down Coming Soon to find the bumps had firmed up, so decided to look elsewhere until the sun got on them. Found a few out of the way places that still had some good snow and provided some amusement. Crowds were horrendous today, so never made it back to Coming Soon. Chatted in the lot and sampled some of @enjoralas's always delicious meat. Except for the crowds, it still was a grate day!
  21. Actually I DID pay someone to do part of the stuff (repair a flat tire) I complained about. I just didn't pay anyone to jack up the car, take off the wheel and drop it off at the tire shop. So paying them to fix the flat, which I really could have done myself but chose not to, gave me the extra free time to go skiing.
  22. Unfortunately this stuff was the half that wasn't worth paying someone to do... It all worked out in the end. I got the adult crap I needed to get done and got enough runs to be satisfied before the crowds arrived to coax me to leave.
  23. Had to do some adult stuff first thing in the morning, that put me in the lot right at 8am. Hooked up with @tarponheadwho was already a run or two down Coming Soon. Ended up lapping Coming Soon all morning until having to depart to finish adult stuff the rest of the day, but the lines at the quad were getting far too long for my patience level. If you stayed in the middle of Coming Soon, the snow was good and very few troughs were down to the dirt. So done with being an adult!
  24. You'll be glad you did!
