Recently I had a go-round with Comcast making hard hits on my credit report, which I immediately locked all of them down hard so they couldn't do it anymore. What a nightmare dealing with their fraud department! The wouldn't even listen when I told them that Comcast doesn't even serve the area where I live! What kind of company doesn't perform checks on new accounts prior to opening them in this day and age??

We typically get anywhere between a half-dozen and dozen calls during the day from strange/unknown phone numbers, it's maddening. We never answer them and they never leave a message. I get a kick out of the people that answer them and then heckle them until the spammer hangs up.

Couple days. He did graduate bachelor's. Back for master's classes.

Went back to school to finish summer session labs. Everyone got tested. I think the deep nasal swabs are probably slightly more accurate due to the location the virus tends to attach. I saw that they're now testing a breathalyzer unit that can detect the presence of the virus.

My son had it done, he also said it felt like they were scratching his brain.

Stopped in at LT last night to pick up a 4-pack of Martin. They had the parking lot side open with tables scattered around. A few people were there. No need for masks at table, but have to wear them to go inside. Inside they had plexiglass on top of the entire bar, so no sitting there. A few people were sitting at the tables in the back. Beer was self-serve out of a fridge right in the front, carry/pay at the bar.

Hmmm... U2? I would think that the first cases would have been somewhere in Ireland then. But I guess the alien need not have been listening to them in person.

Right and it's still only a possibility that it came from a bat or a pangolin or some other mammal, so they too are all just theories at this point, no more proven than whether it came from the lab or not.

That's an ambiguous question. My opinion, FWIW, is that it came from the Wuhan lab, but it wasn't manufactured there for bio-warfare. The lab has a history of poor handling practices and I believe the virus was being studied there, with the chance of it being modified for research. Poor handling procedures allowed it to escape to the wet market.

I feel the same of people around here! We know a few who are dead set against wearing a mask, thinking it's a Democratic plot and post all sorts of videos about people claiming that the air inside the mask is unhealthy and full of C02 causing hypercapnia.
