Report post Posted 1 hour ago I was standing exactly where the guy in the yellow is standing, but facing directly to his left, where @toast21602 dropped in. It was a sheer vertical cornice that day and I couldn't believe it when he went it! The drop in this picture looks like nothing in comparison. Mad props to @toast21602 for dropping into the abyss that was Corbet's that day!

Looks much better snow-depth-wise than when I was there. WTGAI!

Yes indeed! Very hard pressed to find anything to nit-pick about today! New snow was excellent and the grooming was even, dare I say, good and the bumps, thanks to Bumper Gary for giving his time to Blue to help them learn how to make them. Together they did a great job and after the sun hit them, they were as good as they have ever been. Damn! I missed out on the guac, but did have some @enjoralas’s sausage, which was as delicious as always. Thanks Enjo!! Hopefully the partroller that went off Challenge is not in too serious a condition.

Conditions were truly interesting today, very inconsistent. Like @Johnny Law said, you could hit every type of snow there is on one run down. Always beware skiing under the guns, as they could be blowing wet and a number of them were today. We witnessed a number of double ejections of people hitting wet piles under blowing guns, thinking they were gonna be skiing decent snow...NOT!

Then there’s the crappy grooming, so it’s all, well, not good...

Yeah the setting job was wonderful on Sunday, too bad they had Nightmare closed due to skiercross on Dreamweaver. BM also promised on FB that they were gonna reset Barney’s for Sunday. Guess they don’t even know the trail names. They need to have the groomer that set Nightmare set Barney’s. They obviously know what they’re doing!

Yeah, now maybe if he had a teenager...
