I agree with voting with your wallet. However, in my opinion, a few drops in the bucket won't cause Blue to improve, but would probably take it in the opposite direction for those that stay (see Sidewinder park). I think Blue would rather just do away with work than try to improve.

I actually did send an e-mail. Received back canned response, "Thank you for your suggestion..."

This was the original post. https://www.facebook.com/92181707870/posts/10158669259342871/?d=n

I saw that one too. I laughed.

I don't care to just beat on FB, but I also don't like that they delete what's truly there either. So yeah, they can show Barney's is open on their trail map, but why delete a picture of how they look, unless they're not proud of how they look for others to see before they go (if they're going specifically to ski Barney's, which, on a lift ride the other day, people said that they came to ski Barney's but they weren't set). To be honest, if they're just going to set them the way they are, I'd be more than happy that they left Main Street full width, as what they've done is a waste of prime trail space.

My work is constantly criticized, then I improve it, making what I produce even better. I have no way to delete my boss' or co-worker's comments and they're all out in the open of our group for all to see. In my opinion, It's a cop-out to hide/delete comments/suggestions/criticisms made by others, just to cover up poor/no effort made to improve what you're doing. Yeah, I know that there has been feedback provided directly to Blue's management and even offers of assistance to help improve their effort, which have been ignored and obviously rejected.

I must be working to a certain point. At least we know the social media person is reading the posts, but it obviously isn't going any further than that based upon the abortion on Main Street.

Well, it appears as though Blue can't take any criticism on their handiwork. On their "love the groomers" post, one of the bumpers posted a picture of their latest waste of Main Street trail space (aka Barney's Bumps). Of course, we had some, not overly critical, comments on the picture and their effort. I got a notice that someone commented on the post and went to check it out, only to find that the entire section of the post, including the picture and all the comments, delete. Wow, just wow! Fake news at its best!

Filled back to the readers. We bailed to the parking lot after that.

Looks just like yesterday around 11am

Bumps on chute (hopefully it’s viewable) https://www.facebook.com/92181707870/posts/10158676543962871/?d=n

With some help from Mother Nature, I actually was pretty optimistic about conditions today and was happy that they met and some (Switchback & Chute) actually exceeded expectations! Switchback was surprisingly good considering they just opened it. Guess they let the wells drain enough before they got around to grooming them out. We stopped at the top of Chute to check it out before heading down as it loonies like they forgot to finish grooming it, but when we went down and hit the first pike cookies, they just blew apart! The snow was so good on Chute we managed to seed a line of bumps. Unfortunately with the crowds, we all got fed up with the lines and bolted around noon for parking lot tinnies.

I think so too. Early runs, early parking lot.

Jerry helmet sticker game right there...

Can't wait to see what's in store for today! 🤣

Y’all bailed on Razor’s first run and missed out, sorry! It was the best conditions all season on any trail so far. BMR must have payed the law down, as the snow and grooming was par excellence! Everything else was meh in comparison. Lazy was horrible as was DW. It’s like they never made snow in 20’ temps ever before. WTF?? Paradise first run was great, subsequent runs were meh. Ended up running Challenge ditch which had nice snow all day long.

I'm sure @tarponhead can give you the lowdown on the hostel route, if that's your bag. He had quite a time of it there this last trip! 😀

Better have the 6 running! -
So then they were able to add even more base to those trails', so now while those trails are open, blow on the closed ones.
-
They never blow on open terrain while their open (barring the odd fan gun here and there). They could easily be blowing on both trails during the day, especially Sidewinder with its automated guns, whereas Switchback production requires periodic monitoring.
-
Yeah I agree. It's cold enough now to blow and they're behind. Why don't they have the guns going on Sidewinder and/or Switchback??

Miss those days!
