As of Sunday (Gary & I were discussing on lift), forecasted low temps for Palmerton had Wed & Thurs in the upper teens, now they're in the 20's.

WTF? Where'd all the cold temps go? Was supposed to be in the teens for two days. Damn, weak-ass cold front.

Yeah, after morning beers, @tarponhead and I headed back out for a few left side of Lazy laps that still had even softer and better snow than the opening runs. Made some Main Street runs and check out the lower right side which had some pretty nice snow, but light was flat on that side, The next run, met up with Slim at the top who told us about left ridge on Midway and almost guns n' hoses along lower left of Main Street that was bathed in late morning sun. We lapped that a number of times as the snow was just so good, it was hard to quit. Unfortunately the knees and thighs burned so bad, we retired for beer:30 #2. Best day and snow by far of the season!

We could have got a ride up to the top of Tut's to ski the whales.

I'm down to $2.52/run on this pass so far.

I said the same about Main Street last week. We've skied on less in the springtime, so what's the difference between then and early season? It's not all that crowded and it would take some of the load off Midway. It's Blue, go figure...

It's pretty much become the de facto standard for communication with companies anymore.

Yeah, in this day/age of social media, Blue is pretty lax...

We're inherently lazy...

Especially so, if you've just pounded a lift beer on the short ride up.
