I think it's safe to say that Feb 18h is later in the season for Blue mt since on average they close the 3rd weekend in March.

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the moguls on Challenge. I skied them last night and they were fine. No need to wait till end of March to build them. I'm actually surprised they waited this long to put them there. Normally they will have moguls on Challenge in Janurary. Please don't use the moguls as the scape goat because the racers have hijacked Razors. I think it's long overdue that we kick them off of there. They've hogged that trail long enough and Blue caters to them waaaaaaaay too much. Time for them to go find another home. This way all you guys who want to make big GS turns can ski Razors and all the bumpers who like the steep bumps can ski Challenge. Sounds like a win win to me.

That is truly a shame. I noticed the article stated that he was wearing a helmet. In my opinion helmets for the most part are a false sense of security and I have been telling this to people for years. I think helmets work well for slide or skid type of falls and prevent scratching or cutting your head but they are for the most part useless when it comes to impact type crashes, such as hitting a tree. Please keep in mind just because you wear a helmet does not mean you are fully protected.

The reason why I asked is because I drove up for it last year and they canceled it that day so I really don't want to waste my time and money again if that's going to be the case this year. Maybe you can explain whats so hating about that or maybe I'm misunderstanding you? And what difference does it make if John enters or not?

I see that CB is having another attempt at the mogul comp since last year they canceled it the day of due to "bad weather" even though the bumps were total slush bumps. Anyone have any further info on this. What trail is it being held on and why are they limiting it to only 20 skiers??? With 20 skiers it will last about 30 minutes. Are they just looking to get it over with ASAP. If so then whats the point of having it?

I'm just curious. If you are questioning Blue's bumps then who do you feel has the best bumps in the east and why? In my opinion there are many factors that go into bumps that make them really good or really bad, snow conditions being one of the most important factors. Looking forward to some feedback.

Your feeling is just that... a feeling. We built the bumps last night and they look awesome. The course will be closed till Saturday so they won't be getting screwed up by anyone who doesn't know what they're doing. The snow is so soft that once we slip it they will be awesome and rounded. They will get cut in real quick too because of the soft snow. Trust me they will be great I give you my personal guarantee. Just come out and compete.

Enter even if it's not soft. It will still be fun.
