Freaking wear a mask or stay home, if you're not comfortable with sharing a chair, but don't hold up the line.
-
Oh, good. Now when at MC I'll be crashing middle lift w/o worrying too much that someone here may call it a theft of service.

Is all parking going to be paid for at CB or is it only for overnight? I remember reading something about it here, but now all I can find on their website is $25 per car overnight.

I've seen gondolas going over flat areas and exactly for the same reason, i.e. connectivity, so it's not unheard of. But still disappointing. I wish there was another fast way up than sideways.

Ah, crap. They posted video. It's a replacement for Sunbowl lift.

This IS big. Stevenson Express is too busy lately due to all the hotel guests, which left a big chunk of nice trails near Raceway and Rhododendron Glen inaccessible. So all too often we were finding ourselves restricted to the area served by Sullivan Express not even trying to go to the other side because we knew how long we'd need to stay in line. If they put a new express in place of e.g. Glen lift that would be awesome.

Oh wow. Are you talking about someone dressing up and putting a halo above their head not unlike Santas beard below, or was it some magical avoidance of a deadly human rocket?

Thousands of scientists gave their green lights to buses and skiing. The season and night skiing in particular has been saved! This thread can be put to rest. https://gbdeclaration.org/?fbclid=IwAR1cHcpE_O9oxzn6fS4rUTUwbDg-Qa163tMpBzEkxEjl-PkYNZ7bVIScMRU Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.

That's a ridiculous argument. You have stats on this site that will rival Strava. All of your bikes roll on hard ground, none will ride well on a beach, and yet you've managed to accumulate three versions of them. RTMs aren't for cruising, they're for ripping, so let's find you a cruiser now!
-
Well, as much as you may love your skis, I don't think the feeling is mutual. How many bikes do you have? The skis definitely feel like you're not spending enough on them.
-
You're not helping. You should be like: "why do you need the new skis, if there may be no skiing?" And then I'll say: "yeah, you're right, better spend it on a new espresso machine". What are you getting?
-
Yes, Salty. I just can't stand that you're the only one with these gems around here.
-
Somebody, stop me from buying new skiiiiiis
-
And they have three expresses starting this year.
-
Well, that's awesome as I more than ever want to show my support for Trump. Beat those two-faced radical jackals where they belong. Wrong state to be in, but we'll see!
-
Nah, that's hardly a problem. Nothing but the bravest survive 100C, no need for masks. Drinking alone is hard.
-
Righto! Just passing time until the next update to PA counts. When are you posting them, btw?
-
OK, two more refreshing questions for this thread: What are these green "Members solved count" checkmarks under some avatars? Where do they hide the snow guns at Big Snow?
-
Elusive?? This is not another angle on whether I'm allowed to vote, is it?
-
Yep. Did it yesterday. Loved the curves of the turns.

Not only do they want to have weddings and shit, they have it. While some folks are afraid to show their nose out the door, others are conquering the new horizons. I'm sure there will be jewish charters to JH this winter while the regular clientele is confining themselves to the night skiing at BB and a safe drive home.
-
I agree. And you don't have to wait till 8:25 sugar time to find how sweet they are.
-
I'm thinking it's all gonna be the same BS as at Big Snow. They'd have posters with the maximum head count in and out, may scan your temperature and ask you to wear a mask when you come in, but once you hit the lifts, it will be the usual chaos. Nobody will ask you to pull the mask up or even check whether the mask has holes in it or covers your nose, nobody will force you to sit with only your company or on the opposite sides of the chairs, and of course nobody will space folks in line. Yesterday they had some jewish invasion there. A major holiday, IDK. The mall and the slope was overrun with people in black and white, adults and kids running around with the masks below chins, under their nose, whatever, many wanting to experience snow while they were there. It was true chaos.

RTMs are like Kastles, everybody knows they’re the best, so no need to talk the same thing over and over again. The articles is for runner ups.

Oh Deer. Well, this is a racist year. Changes are coming November this year.
