On a side note... New Burma chairs, huh... New groomer, old news... New huge round tables in the lodge... I hold my fingers crossed for a new trail as well. If there is some time when it can happen, it has to be this season. It was nice seeing snowmaking going on in the distance over the Lazy Mile. I even thought that the next weekend might be a top-to-bottom weekend. But alas, the forecast really looks iffy.

Salty, you don't just grow up, you shoot like a rocket. If I were to just plot or mark your height over the last few years, it would be through the roof by now. Seems like only yesterday people were asking you: "why are you always so confused, Salty?", and look at you now! You used to spend whole day on CB, not w/o some reasonable amount of complaints about the hardship of having to use your poles, didn't drink, and were confused by the avalanche of advice on how to hand-flex your RTMs, and now look, all of that crap is long sorted out, and like a pro you get confused by why would someone want to ski for more than 90 min when there is beer and chips waiting in the parking lot.

I never considered JFBB passes. That's like one of the farthest Pocono mountains for me, and would hate driving there more than a few times. Other opportunities on that pass are even less enticing. And besides, the whole Epic rumors started only late summer - way too late for contemplating a season pass.

Doesn't look like the predicted shit show even remotely on webcams. Should've come today. Oh well, there is still Sunday.

That's actually rather cool. I remember, once I missed the last ride up and had to take a shuttle to my car. Now they'll have no excuses and I fully expect to get a tow up.

Yippyyy! What a glorious week! Snowmaking started in Poconos, and a foot of early snow in Dolomites. Pugski is bombarding me with at least half a dozen of new "for sale" threads daily, and I've just winterized my sprinklers. If the season is not 5 minutes away, I really don't know what to think of all of this.

Thanks for the report and pics. They'll be an eternal reminder that VT is not worth even a thought in May.

What amazes me most is how far the grapevine stretches. Who would've guessed that people in Tahoe or Colorado knew rumors about some PA mountain far far away. Two weeks... Wow.
