Oh, but are you gonna be testing this year models or last ones? Some things on that page are exclusive to 2018, like the 3D glass.

No, they say it very clearly that it's steel: https://www.voelkl.com/en-us/products/skis/all-mountain/rtm-84. Whereas for Kendos they say it's Titanal. IDK about Atomic's conclusion. You're already on soft skis with cap construction. What would be the point of getting something similar to that again?
-
Yeah, I like everything about RTM between these three. Have no idea what conclusions you'll come to tomorrow yourself, but it seems like they should have the best edge grip of the three, and since it just rained, will probably seem the most comfortable tomorrow.
-
And it's interesting how they say that RTMs have steel layer in it. Not titanal, not an alloy, but steel. Wow.
-
Vantage looks very close to what you're skiing now. It seems that they're only better due to their partial sidewalls... I would skip them and instead try a radically different length (from whatever you're looking at) of Kendo or RTM.
-
So you aren't kidding, are you? But hey with a 2K budget you can get plenty of passes this season. Don't forget to leave some for RTM
-
Nah. It's usually those who take a week off, drive 6 hours, rent a house and are just stuck with the weather.

Yeah, but I typically come at night to avoid crowds and pay only $25-30 per visit. In the past they had Sunday nights dirt cheap, $25/night. Right now it's $35 for some reason. If I come in the middle of a weekend it's because I have a few of those Pocono Ski Cards and it's close to spring. And since it's a CB thread, to stay on topic I'll say that CB is the worst at discounting tickets. Their nights are $40, and IIRC last spring while Blue was throwing all kinds of discounts, CB was demanding full price every weekend.

Yeah, I wish BM had some sort of a value pass like CB has. Weekdays and weekend nights only. That would've been a no-brainer for me.

Actually, now that you keep bringing the BM SP up, let me ask the all knowing community a few things, to make it easier for you to decide 1) When exactly does Blue start selling their most discounted passes for the next year? 2) Is this typically a flash sale, like you really have to be fast to get 40% off, because of time and supply restrictions? 3) Will SPs from the very first sale cover the rest of the current season or is this starting only in March or so?

I'm surprised how little they have open still. And with this being a holiday week, the trails are going to be quite crowded.

You just need to survive until Feb, I believe. Then get BM season pass for the next year at a discount and ride the rest of this year on it.
-
Do they really eject people or only yell at them? And what if I refuse to surrender the pass?
-
I found little traction on Lazy today. Eventually escaped to Paradise, had a blast there. No patrol in sight. That's what BM is good for. There's always an escape route

Elaborate please. I think they're pigs for blocking an entire country.

I'm in greenish jacket on short red Atomics

So, who's in already? Maybe I'll luck out and spot someone.

Is that one of those things you put on tombstones?
-
No, I'll leave at 8

Honestly, the conditions are even worse than yesterday.

Yeah, all the upper lodge haters will envy me now

It's sunny and beautiful here. And yet such a pain waiting for the 4pm ticket to kick in!

165 is the only approved FIS man slalom ski length. So if it's men it's 165. If it's women, it's 158.
