Right. A friend's KIA drove for 5 years with zero issues. It must drive for the following 5 years with no issues too. Or not, as it's a KIA. My Honda's GPS was syncing radio's time with satellites for 16 years. It must be doing it even now. Oh wait, there was a GPS week rollover bug, so all of a sudden it no longer works since Feb 2020. Whatever you do tomorrow, don't board chair 62. Or 63 because that's the next one to detach.

Oh yeah, was that a post where they teased everybody with an "Ikon or Epic?" question? Other than that I think all references to CB and Epic may be thrown because they were not careful one time calling their conditions Epic. It's too bad that there is no clarity on this. If they were going to be on Epic for sure, I'd be much more incline to ditch BM pass in favor of Epic.

Yeah, that an interesting theory about uneven load, it was thrown on liftblog yesterday. Uneven load plus a surging drive, perhaps even in resonance with the swings. I fully expected the witness to shed some light on this, like father and two kids were packed on one end of the bench. Or father on one end, small kids on the other, anything just to test the validity of the theory. But nope. "Theirs shook so bad. It went up like this. Came down like this." So much emotions, so little useful info.

I agree. They had to go above and beyond for Salty to enjoy his visit with 100% satisfaction. That ain't a small thing. And skicamelsack was a bitter hater. His first few posts weren't even from CB, and yet so poisonous. Good riddance.

Yeah, especially that Montreal guy. Feels personally wronged 'cause he could've been there. Unfortunately most seem to be using this as an opportunity to let out steam on other issues they have been having with CB and are not free of sarcasm either.

Heh, IDK why everybody calls CB a circus and yet acts like they're in circus themselves. Some Montreal guy on FB is yelling on top of his lungs in caps: "STATEMENT, I WANNA SEE A STATEMENT". Then comes a statement, and another disgruntled bystander: "IT'S TOO SHORT, THERE SHOULD'VE BEEN MORE!", "TELL US WHAT YOU DID FOR THE VICTIMS". And so on, and so on... "Why do you still call for folks to go ski at your place?" "Why are you still running your other lifts?" "Roll over and die already and use your parking money for your own funerals." Ugh.

Yes, I was there a few times past October and November. First time we did it on the same equipment that we use on BM, but then quickly scaled back to something that would allow making more turns over that rather short slope.

Oh, he'll definitely live. All I'm saying is that his prior RTMs or something even shorter and narrower would be more enjoyable there than Ripsticks.

On Ripsticks?! Ha. Think slalom skis instead. You won't ever get up to speed suitable for Ripsticks.

That ski hill is good for starting a season, not ending it.

I have no further details on the nature of the part. Could be rubber, could be metal, could be compound. Could also be a bearing rather than bushing because the guy called it wrong. But he did say that the thingie was in transit this morning.

I heard them say today morning that some bushing got shot, and it's currently in transit.

Exaaactly. What do they know about quality skiing on a mountain with epic conditions. Still, a sunset pic would look awesome here. And don't forget to snap a pic of that lift for me too!

I have to say that even though there were many complaints about BM pricing this year, buying in advance really makes skiing there way cheaper than e.g. at CB. This could've been a $28 at BM if bought a few weeks ahead.

Well, you have to get your money worth! If you don't ride it even once, your $55 are as good as wasted. People take time to drive there and take pictures before it's even finished, and you... Does it have a moving carpet?

How's the new lift? Still has the smell and shine of new machinery? Did you ride it?

Ha, not too bad for a weekend at MC. There are pictures of looooong lines flying around, but I guess one can snap them at any resort this winter. How did you get back to South from Granite? Does the long and flat green trail still have enough snow? Must be a pain to take it on a snowboard.

How were the crowds and lift lines at MC? What peak were you at?
