LOL, dressed too fancy and wife in sandals to walk over there. Had only 1/2 hour before ceremony to toss down a double Jameson and ginger before the ceremony.

My donation to getting this to a 100 page conversation.

Had a nice time. Wedding took place down the hill from the lodge. Nice view and breeze on a very hot day. Haven't been to Blue in a few years and pleasantly surprised at the nice remodeling done upstairs in the main lodge. Food was very good too! Blue did a nice job!

Just curious.

My daughter's friend is getting married and reception at Blue on Saturday; looking forward to seeing what that is like! Hopefully cooler at the mountain top than every where else. Not looking forward to a suit in 95 degree weather....

I can safely report that the 2 small snow patches are gone! Hiked 4 miles around the resort today. Trails in great condition. Chairs being pulled off of the cable and prepped for next season. Did the edges on the skis and did summer wax on them. Ready to go for next season, just need to scrape them down and go! When do we begin the countdown to skison 2022-23?

I use Sportler to track my daily skiing stats; can that be uploaded to the Skiing Stats here or do we have to manually enter the stats on this site? Just curious.

LOL I have been on PASR for years, mostly posting from Bear Creek. I get to Blue occasionally, maybe every year or two. Like the terrain, the drive from here sucks as there is no easy way without traffic. Used to ski there weekly when it was "Little Gap". I have to get there as I have a pile of drink vouchers to use up.....

Bought the Epic NE Midweek (Sr) value pass, $291. Already booked 4 days at Okemo, doing Mt Snow on same trip. Throw in some Jack Frost and maybe Stowe and can't beat the deal.

I am advanced intermediate, can ski anything groomed, not real good off piste, my wife is seriously an advanced skier. She had Mad River season pass for many years when she lived in VT. I can handle anything that Elk has and do pretty good at Smuggs, Sugarbush or Snow.
-
And of course with Okemo/Epic that brings a day trip or two into play to Snow and Stowe...
-
Thanks, appreciate the info. Deciding on a week at Okemo or going to Copper. The Okemo requires getting the Epic fairly soon and making reservations sooner than going out west. Going for the early bird purchases! Ideally could afford both trips..... Okemo in February and Copper in March....

Going to sound like a noob here, but over the last 25+ years all of my trips have been drive trips to NE. Last fly trip west was to Jackson Hole in early 90's. Back then I could pack all of my clothes in the ski bag with my skis and carry on my boot bag. Looking to go to Colorado next winter and wondering what the packing/bag protocols are now. Skis in separate bag (can I put 2 pairs in same bag?) Carry on? Can I still pack clothing in around skis? Any other feedback appreciated!

Semi trail report 3-18- fog all the way from Fleetwood until just before the Creek, magically cleared and no fog on the mountain. I didn't ski (really don't like spring conditions!) but the wife, kids and grand kids loved the day. First runs were reported as very nice spring/sugary conditions on the F chair side. They all skied until around 2:30 or so. Parks were nice per my son in law and everyone coming through B chair. Lots of hooting and hollering, lack of shirts and a general good time by all. Everything except Sasquatch open.

Just checked Blue's site and closed tomorrow, reopening Sunday

Skiing today was very nice, ROTD was Grizzly; absolutely fine and whether you went from it to Broadway or past Extreme it was sweet. Very pleasant surprise to see fresh blowing on the new snow- it was not sticky at all. Fluffy in many places. I skied until 11 and everything was still real nice. Hoping we can make it through the week.... maybe hit Elk or Blue tomorrow. Counting down the days......

Nice! Planning to get first tracks again tomorrow while the snow is still firmed up. Probably ski until maybe 11 or 12 then brews again.

Indy Pass website is updated now too

Just back from another great day at the Creek. About 35 degrees at 9, snow was nice and buttery, smooth fast runs. No ROTD as all trails were really sweet. Did 3 runs off of B chair then hit the F chair side. Nice smooth snow everywhere. Grizzly was a bit firm as it is shaded. No crowd at all, never had anyone in line with us. Around 11:30 spring conditions ruled. Beer on the deck was perfect ending to the day.

Interesting looking place! What is there to do outside of ski season? Hike the mountain? Bars nearby or in it? If you would buy it outright any idea of the HOA fees?
-
Yep. Worst part is on the lift and the idiot is like 2 chairs away so he can't hear the request to turn it down/off. At least in the lift line you can ask them to turn it off.

Rolled in at 8:30 to nice cold clear day. Day got off to a bad start- an older patroller went down in the lift area and CPR and a lot of scrambling went on. Prayers for him! Opened a few minutes late as a result. The snow today was phenomenal; 180 degree difference from yesterday. All of the death cookies and ice of yesterday were gone and every trail was in top shape. Timberline, Polar Bear, Broadway all smooth. Grizzly still has the bumps on one side but the other side had some nice powder to turn on. Extreme was also about as nice has it has been. ROTD was Sasquatch. The wife and I hit it at least a half dozen times and the left side was particularly sweet. Left after 1 so all in all JADIP.

Thanks for the great pics and report, planning to get there soon! Looks empty every time I look at their webcams

Rolled in at 8:30 this morning with the wife. Snow was great today overall. Kodiak was usual groomed carpet to start. Noticed all the features out of Black Bear, just a few nice side to side humps across the bottom, hips, volcano, and snow features still there. Maybe getting ready for a new rebuild? Cascade still has all features. Timberline was ROTD with nice soft powdery snow, Grizzly was a bit skied off, the wife hit Extreme and Sasquatch multiple runs and loved them. Broadway was nice soft snow top to bottom, Polar Bear was usual niceness. JADIP

My Ford Fusion has the touchpad, nice feature to lock everything up in car.
