  1. The kids recovered fine. My son (who has asthma and all kinds of other shit) never even felt sick. Daughter who was in between her 2 shots felt shitty for 2 days. My wife who was fully vaccinated (although early on) was the sickest of everyone and she's negative now but still coughing and shit and taste and smell coming back. She feels all right. Somehow I dodged it at home. On Monday I got a call from my jiu jitsu school that someone I trained very closely with had covid symptoms, but I'm still feeling good now so I guess I ducked it again. I still wear a mask where required for the safety of others but I'm fully accepting of the risk to myself at this point.
  2. This is crazy! Would have been nice if we nipped it in the bud when we had the chance, but I guess if you haven't had it you're gonna get it. Vaccination will keep you from dying, but won't keep you from getting it. Might as well do what our parents did when we were kids with chicken pox and get it over with already.
  3. Got it. Like when my wife get's "reverse mad" at me when I'm mad for something she did and then she's mad because I'm mad. Then I get mad because she's "reverse mad".
  4. I'm glad they are changing the name, I found Coming Soon offensive.
  5. You reminded me of the Simpsons monster truck rally episode.
  6. Milk That
  7. I guess everyone is getting tested after the big holiday weekend.
  8. My wife got covid and is vaccinated, and for her it has just been like a mild cold. Maybe it would be much worse if she weren't vaccinated. I'd say go to the gym and workout and as long as you aren't hanging out with a high risk unvaccinated person you are all good. You've done your part by being vaccinated, and keeping healthy by exercising is important too. If you are worried or extra cautious you could always stick to running or do bodyweight exercises outside.
  9. No, I don't have verizon for phone unfortunately.
  10. My Fios is shitting the bed since yesterday afternoon. It isn't totally down, but slow like dial-up internet. I think it's related to the storm yesterday.
  11. Update: So my wife was feeling like shit on Sunday and went for a test. It came back negative so probably just asthma or something she was thinking. I got my test on Monday and was negative so hooray. The hospital my wife works at wanted her to come in for an additional test which she did this morning and she tested positive. I've been sharing a bed and smooching, etc for the last 3 days so I'm now second guessing my test a little. I feel great though, so maybe my vaccine is working and good immune system. Who the hell knows!
  12. We’ll see. I’m feeling healthy as ever, so I’m expecting a negative test and will be annoyed if it’s positive.
  13. My daughter tested positive and has pretty much the symptoms you’d expect but is fine. My son has the symptoms you’d expect but tested negative go figure. My wife and I are both vaxxed, but it says to wait 3-5 days to test so I’ll get it done on Monday. My daughter has had her first shot since she just turned 12, but hasn’t had the 2nd yet. Kids are fuckin pissed at the timing since they’ll miss the start of school and sports.
  14. We got a little COVID going around in our house right now.
  15. I took a chance on the tyrolia attacks and they’ve been great. Was a little worried if they could take a beating but they have been durable and no performance problems at all either. Can’t go wrong with pivots either, but I think the attacks are cheaper.
  16. shit
  17. No!
  18. Get there early my man! I've hiked it a handful of times from a friend's house that lives nearby, but even before dawn there can be a huge car line coming out of the lot.
  19. I would reluctantly accept this if it came to that. It’s the people that make the lot great, not the setting itself.
  20. I'm going to the Phillies game tonight, and I'll be interested to see what the mask situation looks like. My kids are going to be pissed, but they'll probably have to wear one I'm assuming.
  21. I haven’t skied in Utah since the mid ‘90s. Would be great to get back if only for a short trip.
  22. What are your hopes and dreams for this upcoming season? A week in Jackson Hole and an April Colorado skifari? I'm starting to get excited as well.
  23. Makes me consider going for a run! I stopped enjoying running in the heat and humidity and am looking forward to getting a few in with nice weather.
