It's weird to see people without a mask on that you met and got to know with a mask on. Some people have pretty eyes but not so pretty bottom of faces.

I have a friend that did that as recently as 2006. You'd hear splashing and know it was time to vacate the area.

Ha! Trough urinals used to be way more common I think. I'm old enough to remember that at any school or sporting venue there was basically just a bathtub looking thing that everybody lined up at and peed in. I remember when I went to Australia in 1999 they had a different kind of trough, which was just a silver wall that everyone peed on from standing on a step.

This is the first I'm hearing of shingles shots, do I need to be checking into this?

Masks on planes is pretty smart, I might even consider it in the future just to avoid getting a cold or flu when traveling. I’m always nervous about getting sick for a big trip.

I was talking with my stepmom who teaches at Villanova in the business school and she told me an interesting story. While everyone still learned the same amount, and the spring and summer programs went pretty well, she realized that she had barely gotten to know any of the students. There is one particular professor in charge of some type of grant that asks her to recommend someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the discipline that she teaches. She couldn't think of a single person to recommend because she hadn't gotten the opportunity to really get to know anyone by hanging out at office hours or around campus.

Correct, I have no problem fitting 2 pairs of skis, my poles and the rest of the shit I need in the ski bag under 50 lbs. The jeans I wear on the plane are my pants for the whole trip and I can stick some stuff in my boot bag and my ski pack. Boot bag goes up top, ski pack under the seat. All I really need other than my ski gear are a few shirts to wear to dinner and clean undies for each day.

PSA: definitely don’t try to make your 2nd vaccine appointment at a different location than your first. I got turned away for my 2nd this morning in West Chester after having my first in Easton even though both were Moderna. Back in Easton now and wasting my whole work day but happy to have the opportunity to get it nonetheless.

Bradenton/Sarasota area. Went to visit my dad and stepmom who I hadn’t seen in quite a while. They both were recently vaccinated and obviously my jet setting ass accepts the risk of travel. I get my 2nd shot tomorrow so that’s nice too.

I was in Florida for the weekend and there is no pandemic there.

Well that sucks then. I chose to get vaccinated and the government can stay the fuck up out my bisnass.

On the surface of issue I'm right there with ya, but needing vaccines to travel has been a thing for a while. My brother in law had to get all kinds of vaccines to go to Africa (dengue fever, yellow fever and at least one other).

When I worked in the city I remember a masturbating bum and a crazy lady that would scream in your face when getting off the El at 39th street. Fun times..
