Haha, my current boots (and all the various things that have been done to them) are from the boot doctor's other location in Taos. Anybody know how to tell what size last my current boots are? I forget if they are 97 or 100.

Good memory, yep I’m still in the RX 130s and I like them a lot. I’ve seen some of these great deals on the 120s but I’m a little nervous about the difference. Probably wouldn’t even notice though especially since I took one of the screws out of the back of each boot a couple years ago.

Going to get some new footbeds this afternoon. Only masking the problem of needing new boots but I can't figure out where to buy from or what to get so I'll continue procrastinating.

I'll be there on Sunday

How does it work when someone is on ignore? Do their posts just not show up? What about quoted posts?

Something going on in the right side of the map too on the right of Burma. Are these trails or something else?

I’ve been watching closely as I’ll be skiing 3 or 4 days there first week of March. I haven’t skied there since ‘99 but I remember that they always have the best snow.

Fire was blazing in there over this past weekend.

I couldn't figure this out either. I had my kids' rfid cards from last year or the year before, but I just went ahead and did the kiosks anyway and it spit out new cards with the exact same ID #'s on them. Probably would have worked to go right to the lift, but I didn't want to take any chances and the kiosk took literally 30 seconds to do.

There was natural snow all around, but probably not enough for any of it to really be skiable without wrecking your skis. Just a few inches. Adds to the wintry experience though when there’s not exposed dirt everywhere you look.

I don’t wanna hate on good old Blue, but there wasn’t a cookie to be found either.

Longest line on the quad was between 5 and 10 minutes on Saturday at the peak. Way less crowded today.

We had another great day today. This weekend was cold as balls but the sun was shining which was nice. The grooming and the snow really was nice. The conditions were so nice that my wife was enjoying the groomed black runs which is a big step up in challenge, and my kids were wanting to ski bumps almost every run! I think we’ll do a weekend up there every year from now on we had so much fun. Lift tix were pretty cheap, and the restaurant was decent and really cheap for a ski area. Place was 100% open except for the one natural snow run.

We had a great day at Elk today. Spent most of the day on the quad side and the whole family enjoyed it. There was fresh snow blown on the ungroomed trails, and the bumps were nice and soft. It even started snowing pretty hard for a bit and there was a decent couple of inches on top of the bumps on Chippewa. My son and I were the first tracks down and it was a blast! The kids enjoyed Tunkhannock also and I’m really happy that they are keeping up with me. My son on Chippewa pics of the fam Tunkhannock in the AM

I'm considering gaining 10 lbs so I can have a BMI over 30. Was playing around with the calculator online and I didn't realize that "obesity" is strictly based on height and weight.

I was just listening to the Undertaker on Rogan. Very interesting listen.

I had a chimney guy come look at one of my chimneys and he wanted me to take a look at the top of the chimney to show me something and my arms and legs were shaking as I climbed the extension ladder and got all the way up there. I find it funny how I can stand on skis above a huge cliff or exposure and I'm totally fine but I can't climb a damn ladder without freaking out.

That’s an excellent question that my wife knows the answer to. I think a rental of some sort. I’ll take a picture.

Hope you guys have a great time! I’m doing 2 days at Elk this weekend so I’ll miss the PASR day since I’m only willing to drive to Vermont once.

I’m going to elk this weekend!

I thought Jeff was April for the Easter egg hunt?

I’ll put some recommendations in the book thread later today. Been meaning to do so for a while now.

Good old Chuck is always good for a controversial quote.
