  1. You can't blame them - the food is finger licking good.
  2. I've successfully broken that habit at work due to Covid. I used to do it sometimes. A couple weeks ago when I took my family out to eat I realized that my son and I were both eating chicken wings and going to town licking our fingers. I was appalled at myself when I thought about how gross that is. Didn't get sick though so all good. Next time will use a wet nap.
  3. She didn't mention and I didn't ask, but I am interested now that you mention it so I will ask her.
  4. My wife was telling me last night that she got volunteered to be on the vaccination task force at her hospital, but the interesting thing is that they have an actual timeline in which she as well as many others at her hospital will get the vaccine sometime in December. Not exactly breaking news since this is all over the media, but that its happening in real life is exciting to me. I'm jealous that she'll be able to do whatever the fuck she wants and I'll still have to pretend like I'm being careful!
  5. That is 3 things. But i concur!
  6. Me too. When you think about all the other shit we put in our bodies, this one is for the greater good. I think my wife may have to take it for work, whereas I'll make sure I'm not getting it over someone who is in a vulnerable group.
  7. Yes but it's a different league and they play on Tuesdays and Fridays so no conflict with skiing.
  8. It could depend. If you are at a BLM protest or a Trump rally and its outside with the wind blowing and the sun's UV rays shining, I feel okay about that compared to being across the dinner table from a spit talker in an unventilated room. Edit: of course wearing a mask in the protest/rally scenario.
  9. I accept this.
  10. You could say you're traveling by boat through the state, thereby satisfying exemption D!
  11. Can you come up with a way to fudge it and say it's for work? I could easily say I'm visiting possible clients or doing due diligence for a deal, but when I travel this winter I'm sure I'll get tested just to be a good citizen. If I were you and just going fishing and not contacting people I would totally go for it.
  12. Seems like the responsible thing to do, just wish that some of these tests were quicker results.
  13. I'd like to hear more about this. Where is the livestock going that it can't go by truck? There's no way its cheaper to transport via airline but what do I know.
  14. Seems to make sense, but this isn't the case in my district. "Has to be" does not replace "is" when you are making a decision as important as children's education. I will add, though, this was definitely the case with my local college and the numbers showed as much.
  15. I'd be willing to get covid just so I could give it to the blue mountain race team.
  16. I really wish there was better record keeping and data that would tell us exactly how many cases were likely acquired in restaurants, gyms, theaters, gatherings, protests, grocery store, work, schools, etc. I look at the Covid dashboard for my school district often and there are hardly any cases, most of which are in staff members who picked it up who knows where. Since we are supposed to use data and science for everything, we should be using it to decide what to shut down. Maybe they are doing this, but they should give the numbers to the public so that we can be more supportive of the decisions they make by seeing the transparency in the data.
  17. I don't think they have the vocab to understand what procreate means yet, so i'm good.
  18. I've been averaging about 1 or 2 days per week at home doing the help with home schooling. The kids are at school 2 days and home 3 days so my wife and I have been juggling the 3 days we need to be home. I am very lucky that I have a super flexible job because I don't get jack shit done when I'm home with the kids. My son needs a LOT of help. Looks like they'll be all virtual in the next couple of weeks, so I will be pushing the boundaries of the flexibility and goodwill of my coworkers as was the case for the first 2 months of school when they were all virtual.
  19. Ha! I hate them too. I also hate those who were smarter than me and did not procreate.
  20. I think we're still looking good for skiing. Levine just said today that we're not going back to the color coded restrictions, but that they would focus on certain types of businesses. Restaurants and gyms are fucked, but skiing should be okay.
  21. I hear ya.
  22. I'm getting so used to eating shit sandwiches this year that I totally accept this weather and lack of skiing.
  23. He’s been hanging around the cycling scene too much. Sounds like a British cyclist! “Got a new kit mate”
  24. I poop 9,000,000,000,000 times in the morning when I am on trips out west. Mostly because I’m excited and I’ve eaten and drunk weird stuff.
