  1. That’ll help you percolate a nice little dump before you head out the door as well!
  2. You'll be totally fine at DV, can't speak on Alta but others will chime in.
  3. Because I get buzzed and don’t take care of my shit.
  4. I have a Smith helmet, not sure which model. My problem is that I sweat an abnormal amount. I can dress really light and I’m still sweating at the end of a run. Not really a problem at blue, but out west or in VT it’s an issue. I got some Abom goggles with the heated lens that work great, but I don’t like to wear them at blue because I don’t want them to get scratched to shit. I might invest in a second pair if the mask fog is a persistent problem, but they are kind of expensive so hoping to make do with what I have.
  5. I thought I had a good mask that would work, but then I realized that ear loops are rendered useless when you're wearing a helmet. I absolutely need something that I can take up and down, so leaving something hooked around my ears isn't really an option unless it had super stretchy and durable strings. I'm sure I'm totally overthinking it. I really need to break out my helmet and some masks/buffs and do some testing at home before trying any of this on the slopes.
  6. The whole buff thing is going to be major trial and error for me. My goggles fog up like nobody's business when I wear any kind of mask so I'm hoping that my heated goggles can fight the fog, or I find a really breathable buff which defeats the purpose of wearing one in the first place.
  7. I actually have a couple pairs now. My favorite ones that I wore exclusively actually ripped on my Taos trip last year.
  8. Even though someone may be a dipshit they still should have the right to vote and do so easily. At least in my opinion.
  9. Voting in person sucks! I hate going into some gross room in the church that smells like stale coffee where they have AA meetings and seeing all kinds of annoying parents of my kids' schoolmates that I have to make meaningless chit chat with. I dropped my shit in a box at the library this year and was so happy I did.
  10. LOL at "BoBos". That's a new one to me!
  11. I couldn't disagree more with most of your opinions on the election and I'm happy as shit that Biden won, but these 2 points you make are exactly what I'm thinking today!
  12. $ talks. Will only be a matter of time.
  13. I have a few questions since I've never used a bidet but have considered an attachment for my toilet. 1) Do you still have to wipe after squirting the water? 2) How do you dry off your butt? Do you go through a new towel each time you dry your butt? Seems like a lot of laundry.
  14. I did this skyrail gondola in Australia back in '99. I had kind of forgotten about it until all this gondola talk came up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyrail_Rainforest_Cableway The thing I remember most is that I was hungover like a fuckin bitch that day.
  15. Ski Santa Fe’s Millennium triple also.
  16. Correct sir. Wolf Creek is like 4/4.5 hours from ABQ. Might do Wolf Creek, Monarch, maybe one or 2 others.
  17. We're thinking about doing a couple days at Wolf Creek in early March. I last skied there in '97 before they had the Alberta lift. Thinking about a ski-fari by the seat of my pants at some low key ski areas.
  18. Speaking of grass anxiety, I was mid-mow on Sunday morning and my mower broke down.
  19. I think you mean Co-lo-ra-do.
  20. Partly a data dump due to a "faulty data file" yesterday, whatever the F that means. Still no bueno.
  21. Make no mistake, hospitalizations are definitely up - just not at the same proportion as new cases were for the April/May or July spikes. I'm starting to accept that life is going to be like this until 2022 at least. My life is okay and I'm not personally worried about getting sick, but I do feel really horrible for the people that are suffering due to isolation, anxiety, financial loss, illness, etc.
  22. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/10/20/world/covid-19-coronavirus-updates/a-virus-update-in-three-charts These graphs and the accompanying discussion seems like very good news to me. If the link comes through funny, the basic gist is that hospitalizations in relation to cases are way down, deaths as a proportion to cases are way down and testing is way up.
  23. One thing we shouldn't forget is that Blue has the ability to adjust the amount of tickets they sell, so maybe if it's a really horrible shit show the first few weeks they will realize that they need to limit the number of tickets sold to a lower number than they initially established. Perhaps wishful thinking?
  24. This is scientifically proven because @Johnny Lawsmokes a cig on every lift ride and I never inhale any smoke.
