Seems like the responsible thing to do, just wish that some of these tests were quicker results.

I'd like to hear more about this. Where is the livestock going that it can't go by truck? There's no way its cheaper to transport via airline but what do I know.
-
Seems to make sense, but this isn't the case in my district. "Has to be" does not replace "is" when you are making a decision as important as children's education. I will add, though, this was definitely the case with my local college and the numbers showed as much.

I'd be willing to get covid just so I could give it to the blue mountain race team.

I really wish there was better record keeping and data that would tell us exactly how many cases were likely acquired in restaurants, gyms, theaters, gatherings, protests, grocery store, work, schools, etc. I look at the Covid dashboard for my school district often and there are hardly any cases, most of which are in staff members who picked it up who knows where. Since we are supposed to use data and science for everything, we should be using it to decide what to shut down. Maybe they are doing this, but they should give the numbers to the public so that we can be more supportive of the decisions they make by seeing the transparency in the data.

I don't think they have the vocab to understand what procreate means yet, so i'm good.

I've been averaging about 1 or 2 days per week at home doing the help with home schooling. The kids are at school 2 days and home 3 days so my wife and I have been juggling the 3 days we need to be home. I am very lucky that I have a super flexible job because I don't get jack shit done when I'm home with the kids. My son needs a LOT of help. Looks like they'll be all virtual in the next couple of weeks, so I will be pushing the boundaries of the flexibility and goodwill of my coworkers as was the case for the first 2 months of school when they were all virtual.

Ha! I hate them too. I also hate those who were smarter than me and did not procreate.

I think we're still looking good for skiing. Levine just said today that we're not going back to the color coded restrictions, but that they would focus on certain types of businesses. Restaurants and gyms are fucked, but skiing should be okay.

I'm getting so used to eating shit sandwiches this year that I totally accept this weather and lack of skiing.

He’s been hanging around the cycling scene too much. Sounds like a British cyclist! “Got a new kit mate”

I poop 9,000,000,000,000 times in the morning when I am on trips out west. Mostly because I’m excited and I’ve eaten and drunk weird stuff.

Me!

That’ll help you percolate a nice little dump before you head out the door as well!

You'll be totally fine at DV, can't speak on Alta but others will chime in.

Because I get buzzed and don’t take care of my shit.

I have a Smith helmet, not sure which model. My problem is that I sweat an abnormal amount. I can dress really light and I’m still sweating at the end of a run. Not really a problem at blue, but out west or in VT it’s an issue. I got some Abom goggles with the heated lens that work great, but I don’t like to wear them at blue because I don’t want them to get scratched to shit. I might invest in a second pair if the mask fog is a persistent problem, but they are kind of expensive so hoping to make do with what I have.
-
I thought I had a good mask that would work, but then I realized that ear loops are rendered useless when you're wearing a helmet. I absolutely need something that I can take up and down, so leaving something hooked around my ears isn't really an option unless it had super stretchy and durable strings. I'm sure I'm totally overthinking it. I really need to break out my helmet and some masks/buffs and do some testing at home before trying any of this on the slopes.
-
The whole buff thing is going to be major trial and error for me. My goggles fog up like nobody's business when I wear any kind of mask so I'm hoping that my heated goggles can fight the fog, or I find a really breathable buff which defeats the purpose of wearing one in the first place.
-
I actually have a couple pairs now. My favorite ones that I wore exclusively actually ripped on my Taos trip last year.

Even though someone may be a dipshit they still should have the right to vote and do so easily. At least in my opinion.
-
Voting in person sucks! I hate going into some gross room in the church that smells like stale coffee where they have AA meetings and seeing all kinds of annoying parents of my kids' schoolmates that I have to make meaningless chit chat with. I dropped my shit in a box at the library this year and was so happy I did.

LOL at "BoBos". That's a new one to me!

I couldn't disagree more with most of your opinions on the election and I'm happy as shit that Biden won, but these 2 points you make are exactly what I'm thinking today!
