I couldn't disagree more with most of your opinions on the election and I'm happy as shit that Biden won, but these 2 points you make are exactly what I'm thinking today!

$ talks. Will only be a matter of time.

I have a few questions since I've never used a bidet but have considered an attachment for my toilet. 1) Do you still have to wipe after squirting the water? 2) How do you dry off your butt? Do you go through a new towel each time you dry your butt? Seems like a lot of laundry.

I did this skyrail gondola in Australia back in '99. I had kind of forgotten about it until all this gondola talk came up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyrail_Rainforest_Cableway The thing I remember most is that I was hungover like a fuckin bitch that day.

Correct sir. Wolf Creek is like 4/4.5 hours from ABQ. Might do Wolf Creek, Monarch, maybe one or 2 others.

We're thinking about doing a couple days at Wolf Creek in early March. I last skied there in '97 before they had the Alberta lift. Thinking about a ski-fari by the seat of my pants at some low key ski areas.

Speaking of grass anxiety, I was mid-mow on Sunday morning and my mower broke down.

I think you mean Co-lo-ra-do.

Partly a data dump due to a "faulty data file" yesterday, whatever the F that means. Still no bueno.

Make no mistake, hospitalizations are definitely up - just not at the same proportion as new cases were for the April/May or July spikes. I'm starting to accept that life is going to be like this until 2022 at least. My life is okay and I'm not personally worried about getting sick, but I do feel really horrible for the people that are suffering due to isolation, anxiety, financial loss, illness, etc.

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/10/20/world/covid-19-coronavirus-updates/a-virus-update-in-three-charts These graphs and the accompanying discussion seems like very good news to me. If the link comes through funny, the basic gist is that hospitalizations in relation to cases are way down, deaths as a proportion to cases are way down and testing is way up.

One thing we shouldn't forget is that Blue has the ability to adjust the amount of tickets they sell, so maybe if it's a really horrible shit show the first few weeks they will realize that they need to limit the number of tickets sold to a lower number than they initially established. Perhaps wishful thinking?

This is scientifically proven because @Johnny Lawsmokes a cig on every lift ride and I never inhale any smoke.

I think between wearing masks and being outside where it’s windy, 6 feet might be ideal but not absolutely necessary. In a bunch of the literature that our school district sent out, they refer to a 3 to 6 foot distance being acceptable, and that is indoors. I feel like a couple feet, wearing a mask and being outside is okay and if it’s not then we’re all fucked and might as well get sick and die right now and get it over with already.

I'll have to try the earthy colors. Somehow I got it in my head that the "shiner-type" silver swim baits were the way to go, and for some reason my son only wants to use the neon green and orange ones. I have a bunch of brown ones I'll put into use and see if I get results.

We fished at Locust Lake with zero luck, and other than that mostly at the Charter Chase pond. Haha, I run by that Mill Valley Park almost once a week. That little island is weird! The only luck I had last week at the pond was catching one sunny with a trout magnet. Usually we would catch bass also with swim baits, but no luck lately.

Awesome dude! It's been rough fishing for me and my crew the last 5 or so times, so glad to see someone is having success.

That's pretty much what I'm saying. They shouldn't have to make sacrifices to live a reasonably safe and normal life, but why should we ruin skiing to accommodate the cautious? Then I sound like a dick saying that so I'll just be grateful for my leisure time.
-
What makes it a weird argument also, is that its a leisure activity. One might be more likely to side with the cautious people at the grocery store or somewhere that you can't avoid going to sustain your well-being, but balk at the idea of cautious people asking for accomodation when they are doing a leisure activity by choice. On the other side of the coin though, is that everyone is out there doing a leisure activity and we can all just slow down a bit and be grateful that we get to do it this year.

That's a good one. En Vogue sang the theme song as I remember.

I'm glad I'll be able to poop inside if I have to. I was dreading the thought of a port a potty scenario, even if it does only happen a couple times a season.

When Salty posted the Prisencolinensinainciusol video, I was trying to figure out what he was saying because to me it sounded like an italian guy speaking not perfect english. I have to copy and paste the word Prisencolinensinainciusol each time I write it.

Seems super reasonable!
