  1. I think between wearing masks and being outside where it’s windy, 6 feet might be ideal but not absolutely necessary. In a bunch of the literature that our school district sent out, they refer to a 3 to 6 foot distance being acceptable, and that is indoors. I feel like a couple feet, wearing a mask and being outside is okay and if it’s not then we’re all fucked and might as well get sick and die right now and get it over with already.
  2. I'll have to try the earthy colors. Somehow I got it in my head that the "shiner-type" silver swim baits were the way to go, and for some reason my son only wants to use the neon green and orange ones. I have a bunch of brown ones I'll put into use and see if I get results.
  3. We fished at Locust Lake with zero luck, and other than that mostly at the Charter Chase pond. Haha, I run by that Mill Valley Park almost once a week. That little island is weird! The only luck I had last week at the pond was catching one sunny with a trout magnet. Usually we would catch bass also with swim baits, but no luck lately.
  4. Awesome dude! It's been rough fishing for me and my crew the last 5 or so times, so glad to see someone is having success.
  5. That's pretty much what I'm saying. They shouldn't have to make sacrifices to live a reasonably safe and normal life, but why should we ruin skiing to accommodate the cautious? Then I sound like a dick saying that so I'll just be grateful for my leisure time.
  6. What makes it a weird argument also, is that its a leisure activity. One might be more likely to side with the cautious people at the grocery store or somewhere that you can't avoid going to sustain your well-being, but balk at the idea of cautious people asking for accomodation when they are doing a leisure activity by choice. On the other side of the coin though, is that everyone is out there doing a leisure activity and we can all just slow down a bit and be grateful that we get to do it this year.
  7. That's a good one. En Vogue sang the theme song as I remember.
  8. I'm glad I'll be able to poop inside if I have to. I was dreading the thought of a port a potty scenario, even if it does only happen a couple times a season.
  9. When Salty posted the Prisencolinensinainciusol video, I was trying to figure out what he was saying because to me it sounded like an italian guy speaking not perfect english. I have to copy and paste the word Prisencolinensinainciusol each time I write it.
  10. Seems super reasonable!
  11. We need a Ski2Live cover of Prisencolinensinainciusol also.
  12. Well, Taos announced their plans on Friday for the season and they aren't offering any ski school for kids which is kind of a dealbreaker. We can pay $750/kid per day for a private lesson but I'm not made of money. Plus, it looks really restrictive regarding eating, drinking, etc. This will probably be the first year since 2011 that I don't get Taos in. Narrowed it down to Sun Valley or Steamboat for the family trip.
  13. I looooooooooooooovvvvvvee Stevie Nicks.
  14. This is true.
  15. Almost pissed my pants when I saw this
  16. I've taken covid pretty seriously, but honestly if Chris Christie can survive it, maybe it's not that bad!

What is a Big and Friendly book?
  19. Maybe 2020 has a silver lining after all.
  20. This fucking guy has some balls.
  21. If you guys like stadiums built into mountains you should check out the Sun Bowl in El Paso, TX. I had a scrimmage there once in high school and its really cool - you park at the top (like Jack Frost) and the stadium is below.
  22. Planning skiing for the family is definitely going to be a bit more tricky than usual this year. I already reserved our house in Taos for early March, and I'm assuming that once they announce their plans that it won't be a problem to get lift tickets, but I'm mentally preparing myself to be flexible. Maybe even have to skip the trip if travel restrictions come up again due to Covid. Assuming no government-imposed restrictions I am planning on skiing wherever I want, I don't care if it costs more money, and as far as I'm concerned there is no Covid during ski season.
  23. Can someone who used to have a medical card but doesn’t anymore have a LCTF? Asking for a friend...
  24. This being the case, if ever questioned you could claim that you got your medical license to have easier access to medical grade CBD which is not a controlled substance.
