This e learning stuff is going to fuck my shit up today. With my wife being at work at the hospital all day (gross and concerning), I’ll have my kids with me at work and am supposed to guide them through these school lessons, all while performing the main finance function of a company that is hugely impacted by the current volatility in the markets. Should be a great day! Time to hop aboard the no stress express! We were talking about a babysitter, but all my wife’s family that we would usually ask are like 70 so that’s not cool, and I don’t really trust that some college student isn’t going straight from my house to hang out in a large group of people. Strange experience we are all having for sure, but at the end of this at least I’m getting extra time with my kids, and society as a whole will hopefully take away some good lessons about consumption, relationships etc.

Childcare is a rough situation right now. I brought my kids into my office and made them sit on beanbag chairs in the corner for like 6 hours. They were only allowed to leave my office to use the bathroom. They actually didn’t mind and were pretty good but if this thing goes 4 weeks like is rumored I’m going to put a fucking bullet in my head having to deal with stress at work and managing kids.

It’s like letting go of a wild fire hose. Gotta keep a grip.

I wash my penis after I pee, because it was clean before my dirty hands touched it. It had been safe and sound covered by clean underwear until pulling it out with possibly filthy hands that have been touching rails, handling money, etc.

Sounds like this is happening Sunday? Guess I'll be there Sunday instead of Saturday.

Day 1 of 4 at Taos Ski Valley is in the books. Today was a warm spring day but everything up high over 10,500 or so was still winter conditions. I lost my phone at about 9:15 am, and then I miraculously found it about an hour later. Was skied over for sure and it’s a little fucked up but I was still able to take some pictures. West basin was closed for a free ride comp, but I did 2 Highline Ridge hikes, once to Ninos Heroes and once to Juarez. Rode the Kachina Peak lift twice also and hit the dogleg couloir which was extremely steep, really rocky and hard snow and it scared the shit out of me. Won’t ski that again this week. Next time up was K2 which was amazing. I had to ski off of a pretty huge cornice into the chute but the snow was real good and a sustained steep pitch for about 700 or 800 vertical I would say. skied Al’s on my way to the St Bernard for lunch and some other old favorites after lunch like Castor and North American. Skied for a bit with my wife and mom on groomers as well. Coverage is really good and the groomers are really nice. Should be a great week. I’m on my way to bronze god status also with the bright sunshine. base area and als kachina from the top of the ridge looking up ninos heroes top of K2 looking back up K2 Scenery, etc

Had a nice first day in New Mexico. Saw a beautiful sunrise then went for a nice run/hike/scramble and then hit Marble Brewery and La Cumbre. Will head up to Taos Ski Valley in my pimped out rental Suburban tomorrow. Will try not to break any levers in the car like I did in Jackson. View from my moms backyard of sunrise did not suck at all.

One of my favorite homemade wing sauces is 1/2 maple syrup 1/2 sriracha. Sounds weird but it's delicious and sticks to the wings nicely.

Exactly. Just go around wide, but that still doesn’t help you if you lose control on a steep and slide head first toward a tree which is why riding with a buddy is always recommended. I ski glades alone often and I just go slower and less aggressive than I would if in a group.

Best day of the year at Blue for me so far! Sidewinder, NMDW and Barney’s were my favorites today. Brewskis and cheese balls were nice as well. Felt good to have some fun in the sun!

Those Russian ice slides are cool. I always thought it was neat how the Spanish word for "rollercoaster" is "Montaña Rusa" or "Russian Mountain".
