perfectly aware of that... The main park guy there wants to set up the wall ride the wrong way already, he wants it over to the side rather than trying to hit it straight, lets hope they listen to me
-
Thats crazy... I remember seeing danny cass get his big break on bluetorch TV. Before that he was just a local kid from jersey riding at creek everyday, now hes an olympic medalist (and a bit of an asshole) but "hey, you never know"
-
The job isn't 100% mine just yet, I'm waiting for a call this week to discuss some logistics, but it was made apparent that the job was mine, so lets pray it works out!

Shawnee will be introducing a brand new wall ride, and a new pipe magician groomer this year in their parks. Just a little heads up for whats in store

Hey listen people, i remember someone telling me about this fake snow that you mix with water. The problem with a particular brand by DUNECRAFT called "supersnow" is that when people mixed it, the stuff would turn into a gel and not "snow"... the guy who made the stuff for the last couple months never cleaned the storage tanks. He said everyone buying it has been calling and getting that same gel. He said they fixed it and they will send the new stuff instead of giving my friend his money back. So I will keep you guys posted about a future "summer/fall" jib jam. http://www.dunecraft.com/products/snow_bag.htm if you bought this stuff, give them a call and get the new shit... who knows what it can do...

oh yea and a shout out to dharrisburg... that was some funny shit!

Its that money hungry mentality that is bringing the snow sports down... some ski areas has become so overloaded with idiots like that Agrajag. I HATE people who go into the park with their little sons/daughters and watch them glide up to the top of a kicker just for them to roll back down and ruin all the lips, I hate crazy lift lines! last year a the creek i had to wait 30 to sometimes 40 mins just to get on a crowded standing gondola with 8 other people jammed in, to take a 5 min run. Why cant everyone just ride and mind their own business??? And i REFUSE to pay a $45 lift ticket to a place in our area for a concrete base and a shitty ass park with a big ol 15' jump... whoopy! Thats the only reason y i stayed there at creek... their parks are unmatched in this area if anyone wants to think other wise i dare to to reply to that lol (not trying to sound mean) but really come on people i understand its a business, and i'm a fan of making a buck! but lets get our heads out of our asses and have some fun shreddin w/o having to spend a fortune... thats y i build! thats y i have that name PB... anyone is welcome to my house to ride and shred for free!

Yea definatly... Kreisch17 is my sn, gimmie a holla. where do u live?

If I get this job wed. It would be cool to have an S-box at shawnee, actually just some harder and longer features... most of their stuff last year didnt have much gaps onto the jibs, at least not that i could recall, i kinda felt like a pussy riding through there... any thoughts?
-
Most likely tanglwood thats about 15-20mins away (right off the highway) masthope is about 30, mountain creek and shawnee are almost equal at 35-45 depending on the roads.
-
Anyone know where Pike County is lol... It'd be a drive and hopfully the gas prices will go down... but here take a look... http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searc...A&zipcode=18337

Thanks man that means a lot, hope fully I can hold a mid winter cook out and invite eveyone up for some free shreddin. To answer one of your questions about getting speed for that hit thats easy, there is an actual mountain behind my house where (at the base) I set up features including a 15'-35' table (depending on how much snow and what we feel like jumping) then on either side we have trails that split and use those for jibs... last year we had a 16' rainbow rail and a battleship box, but this year we decided to go huge with a 30' long kink box (pictured) and that 22' cbox at the base where our 1/4 pipe was last year... who knows, our options are unlimited. And by the way we had an sbox last year, ill try to get some pix of it up lol, but thankx for the thought!

thats funny shit right there... lets hope it changes

i heard their lips sucked, and they had minimal transition space and steepness... I just hope they dont promote something again that they cant deliver. what were their biggest hits? anything over 35'?
-
what is that sliding surface that you are using... im actually getting this fake snow stuff that u add with water, ill find out if it works in about a week... hit me back
-
I posted some pictures of my park and i believe a few from mt. creek so take a look!
-
Im gonna hafta jump in and say go with the burton freestyles... pretty cheap to todays standards and i have never worn a more comfortable and light boot.
-
Im def gonna jump in and say stratton... you gotta give it to intrawest resorts, they can pump money into anything... their parks are always in the top 10 and the conditions are always good. It pretty close, about a 4-5 hr drive and if u book early you can get great deals at the stratton inn, or the liftline lodge... for those park riders im serious of their stuff, its the mecca of parks in the east. hope this helped
-
well im not gonna lie... shawnee's pipe is basically a hole in the ground, that def needs to be in better shape. Coming from jersey I def can see a diffrence in pipes hands down. 60' jumps sounds good, at least one of them... hopefully we can get shawnee to throw in a better jump line this year with some decent lips and bigger trannies. id say with their park size you could fit in 3 good jumps... if u start from the side of the pipe (aka hole in the ground) you might be able to agin enough speed for a 25'... then a 30'... and hopefully push it to 50' + if you can carry your speed from the trannies of the first two. I envy you skiers, i dont wanna hear any crying from snowboarders either, we all know they get way more speed to clear shit. thanks for the tip, ill be checking in!
