I know that myself and a few of my crew members mentioned that the terrain park would be changed tonight. This was our plan, but due to unforeseeable mechanical difficulties we will not be able to change the park tonight. We hope Saturday night will work out better. Hang in there, we have alot planned. I appologize, Andy

Toms right, i am trying to open up the large staircase ASAP. Most of the snow i needed, i pushed there earlier this morning, so now all i need is a trackskidloader and few crew members. As far as the comp, it is undecided, though due to lack of snow in cascade it will be in the tube park. Also, i worked on the lip to the c box and 35fter and it should be alot better now, sorry for the so/so lips the past few days. Im really happy with how the park is looking this morning and i strongly recommend coming out if you have the ability. Im off to catch some zzz's, cya in the park around lunch! ANDY

elan mo2's arent to bad if all you do is rails, there to tail flexy, but i think msrp is like 500 so there pretty cheap, otherwise not much cheap i know of

Black bear will remain as a normal slope for a few days so it can recieve snowmaking in a wide open area. This list is tentative to change. As our snowmaking efforts continue, our feature list will grow, as well as the variety of features. Hang in there, Hope to see you all here tommorrow! ANDY

BC Iron Works presents: Melt Down Jib Fest
BC Iron Works replied to BC Iron Works's topic in Bear Creek
Helmets are required, Were are trying to set up three features today, the picnic table, 25ft flat rail, and 30ft flat box, the only reason they wouldnt all be set up is lack of snow, though i dont see much of an issue with the plan, The jib fest will take place on Cub Run, just above the base area. There will be a registration table there, please bring id. Hope to see you all there, ANDY -

Method 9455 is dead on with that thought, we do know a few if not all of the rails lips are a bit higher then needed, but we are afraid of losing a lip mid day and having to close a feature, just thought id add that, ANDY

I just wanted to give a mid day update, I am very pleased with how the park is riding at the moment, we also are now up to 14 features, the Cliff has a hip style hit off of it, seems to be pretty popular, We also havent lost as much snow during the day as i thought we would. Looks to be a very good nyte to ride, hope to see everyone up here! There should be pictures up on SKIBEARCREEK.COM of our setups, If there not up yet they should be up shortly, ill try to post some in here! ANDY

We will be working hard to keep these features riding perfect, even though weather doesnt look to cooperate. Have a good night everyone, cya tommorrow ANDY

The cliff is graded flat at the top, though its super wide so there prolly be a few take offs other then just hitting it normally, it may take a few days to really see how lips and landing should be built but once its dialed, you'll love it. Im super stoked that everyone is pleased with the additions to the park, Ill keep posting up date as things progress in the following weeks to come! Heres to a great 06-07 season! Andy
-
Thank You for the Props' A press release should be out in a day or two so stay tuned, in this release it will state all the features and things that have changed, I am also working on getting some pictures up, mostly what already online but either way as a the weeks go youll be seeing more and more, hang in there Andy
