Trying to blow snow friday nyte, hopefully a lil more luck then last saturday but all bugs are worked out now

umm considering ur skiing over some high power lines, water lines, and what not, not to mention that the piles wont be pushed out ryte away so there will be bare spots, plus ull get in trouble, security is there 24-7 anymore, and id rather deal wit security, cuz snowmaking are my boys and all, but there a different breed of human, they will not be too happy at all if they find u there, so in other words, dont do it, its not worth losing a pass or something

i can give you this much, guns will go on tommorrow evening and prolly stay on for a long time thats all

im pretty sure thats what the plans are, though there rushing to, im pretty sure theyll be here thanksgiving nite blowing and installing the lift, id hope to see snow before that, youll see a good park at opening this year i hope

yea well i can explain some of it, there has been delays with the magic carpet for the tubing, its like 780ft long and u cant put that in in snow, but theyll prolly start blowing next week, hey either way the forcast is mad good way better then last years start im pumped

i dont think bear ever closed due to snow, including doe mountain days, yall dont have to believe me, i can ski all the fresh stuff all nyte long, cuz every run the tracks are gone and no one is usually there, they let people that cant get out safely sleep in the lodge, all that means is the bar is cheap and open til god knows when but luckly we have the yurt this year so it should be a good year if it snow often enough

no not for me, i can get them cheap, and also id be using them in tuckermans ravine and other places its snows massive quanities, id rip on them when it does snow in pa though cuz believe it r not it actually dumps were i rip cuz of the valley, but yea 84 mm is enough for me everyday those other skis would prolly only see 14 to 15 days of use, i get scratch fs every year and wear them out, i love those

im riding the scratch Fs 84 mm waist and trying to get a pair of seth vicious k2s those are like 95 or 98

of course bear for Pa, Okemo for jumps, didnt like the jibs, i dunno i like bears rails better then most places ive been too

I just wanted to quick appoligize for some of the comments i made yesturday, i said somethings that someone in my position shouldnt, i just wanted to explain that im very passionate about Bear Creek, its my job, home, and life, i grew up there, and well, i was just defending it and the locals and so on, i dont want anyone to take effence to anything i said, Im ready for one heck of a season, and the only thing that made me say those things is i hate negativity, it will get us no where in the long run, i wish we could all get along and be a family, but yea anyway! Lets rock 2005/2006 season! its ryte around the corner!

They could do things like we do, alot of our setups are normal style setups, if we have down rails or some other features like the picnice table and stuff its more of a pop up onto them, but if they do that wit every rail? how ya gunna spin on and look good doing it?

Incase anyone here wants to know i figured id hook ya up wit some names of the people who will be keeping Bear creek at the head of the class in terrain parks this year Andy Lenart- Manager Tyler Boyer- Ast. Manager Russle Bowman Dan Dowe Dan Pilz Danielle Lavery Chris Hoover Josh Ziegler Tim Radway Mark Hafer These guys and girls will Keeping everything upto pair and will be building terrain parks from combined veiwpoints, there will be a suggestion box somewhere on the mountain this year due to changing the park every 2 weeks, so get ur ideas in and maybe ull see exactly what you wanna ride!

were looking at over 30+ rails, wallride, and two parks, and a pipe, if the pipe ever moves then bear will be the top!

rails, boxs have to much drag! there fun and good to learn tech on but just arent it

just to let ya know, no one here has set an opening date for the reason that you cant do it, i think i know who said that and it really doesnt surprise me at all, well open when its cold, simple as that

Yea man, those grass skis are fun, i can see a lot of possibilities in thise things, like mini terrain park, the only thing is its kinda like inlinin' which ehhh whatever, but different and more fun, im looking for a pair now, i wanna start FS grass skiing lol

hey jarod if you wanna ski the knar hit up inbetween sasquatch and extreme, manditory treeslides to drops and stuff like that, mad steep plenty of drops, u name it, and if you wanna challenge hit it at nyte, but i wanted to warn you about that line you mentioned, there is a 480 power line exposed ryte in the path you ski, of course your chance of getting zapped is small but if everything go ryte it could throw you pretty far i stay away from that one though it is fun! im thinking about getting some pow boards just for snow storms up there theyd actually be used pretty often and i have a feeling were getting one good dump a week this year or shall i say prayin
