you pissed me off so much with what you said about cigarette buts and bottle caps that yes - I did plan on proving you wrong.. So what...?? Don't flatter yourself - I spent maybe one minture thinking about what you said and how I'd address it and set the facts straight... And the only picture I took for you was the one with the watch... But seriously... Excellent reaction! Exactly what I expected with all the blasts about Manhattanites.. Anybody that knows me, knoews that I am indeed a freindly local... Except to people that grossly exagerate negative things about where I live... I'm done with this... I think I have sufficiently proven my point and set the record straight... Enjoy! Cause I didn't want to ride on a trail with 2000 people and cigarette buts raning down on me... The mountain was open to the bottom today... We actually poached it yesterday - it was totally ridable - they just had to fill in some water bars..

Just got off the mountain... they put up a couple rails... And a nice kicker too...

How would I know if it would be worth it for you???? Don't waste your $$ if you don't want to spend it... Cause like the picture shows... The lines were horenedous... headed out now for some turns.... I hope it's now crowded again....

Only one run.... I guess it wasn't such a good day... Who knows if more will open... Guess it depends on snowmaking weather..

Wow... What a crowded day... Hellgate was packed with 2000 people... Picking your way through beer caps and cigerette butts was difficult.. The lift lines were unbearable... By 12:30 the place was mobbed... Actually... Great day!!! Awesome start to the year!!!

They usually open as soon as they have good coverage and the trails are marked by Patrol.. I bet next week as they originally scheduled... But they have opened after 2 days of good snowmaking before... So who knows... If they shut off the guns - I'll go make some turns..

I won't bash you - cause you seem like kinda person that always wins arguments.... I could show you a S-load of pictures I've taken - 90% on weekends - where people have tons of room to ski and enjoy themselves..... but I only really ski the tougher trails... But - thats probably not going to convince you cause your mind is made up.....

Thats an complete and ridiculous exageration and you know it... !!! The only ones who can't handle it are the people that can't deal with bumps... Stay to the left side of Hellgate and your fine... No gapers really dare to get that deep into the moguls...

Cortina Valley still operates but is limited to a small park and tubing... Pretty sad... Cool little place...

Hunter is scheduled to open 11/19 with top to bottom skiing - but - they will have the snowguns ready 11/1 and if it's cold enough they will open as soon as they can... Or you can wait for Camleback to open(BACK AT YOU SKIDUDE!)... Generally they will open the quad to the top and the triple to the middle station... The trail down from the middle station is wider and easier. If the other areas in the Catskills open - Hunter will be less crowded... I personally have never had any issues with early season crowds. If you ski late in the day most are too tired - so the trails are relativly empty. Opening day pictures... From what I hear not as good as other places.. But I'm more of a freerider.. So I don't really hit the parks... I'll take you on a tour - but not the park...

You keep missing the words like "tend" that are used to keep from generalizng... Belive me - I have no interest in sticking around... At first I thought it would be cool based upon the way you guys defended Ski Denton against Alpine Zone guys... But now I realize most of you were just blowing smoke and piling on... We live in tought times - you should support the industry and mountains.. Save you blasts for disscussions with friends... Not braodcast ehm on the internet...
