  1. That wallride is definitely fun. I dont think they should put in tubing again though. Switch things up, maybe put it in black bear. I think bear should experiment a bit more. That jump ^ doesnt look very nice. Even bears jumps are better.

Im thinking about taking a trip to vermont. Ive never been there before, only pa and a bit out west. From what Ive heard on newschoolers.com it is shitty but idk a bunch of those kids are spoiled and rich. Is it worth it to go up?
  6. well at least they get to ski year round
  7. yah that box. i never got a chance to hit it.
  8. do they sell krankd anywhere but bear?
  9. they should just cover that with snow.
  10. I think you could charge a lot for it anyways because diehard park rats will ski on anything. They are also trying to make the place fun in the summer also.
  11. are there any updates on the wakeboarding? are there any updates on the wakeboarding?
  12. a thing about the blue steps are: if you get down to them some beginners cant/wont go down razors edge or extreme, and would rather just step up those stairs instead of hiking to paradise or back up to where the lift lets off. I think the idea of putting steps in and have a little kicker to the side so people can jump up them is smart. The park crew could also clear off the steps each run.
  13. Last night everything was icy and hard. There were still plenty of ruts tho. The red rail was set up smoothly and the butter box was fun. A problem im seeing is lips that dip down right before the end of the jump and then pop you at the last second. It feels sort of weird.
  14. Put a log jib on top of a quarter pipe, the octagon box sounds good, set table on side for stalling, bmx jump line, a frame, s box, down flat down like boulder had set up on the first day, flat rails set up urban style but not huge, put that long red mailbox type rail back out, set up something like the tiger box but without the crappiness, and lastly get rid of the up-flat-gap-down/up rail set up and put a jump their.
  15. I think they should build a flat-up-flat rail. They should also build a bigger variety of railds that arent flows or those rails with the little kink in the front and back. They should have more round rails, and build some double pipe rails
  16. Maybe they could put a big mandatory to hit mogul in to keep people out or just go with somebody that scans park passes at the top of each run.
  17. I agree. Two years ago bear was a lot more fun to ski at. The atmosphere has definitely changed for the worse.
  18. Im skiing with a cast on now. Actually its my third year in a row skiing with one. Just be careful and try not to do much stuff in the terrain park even though it tempting.
  19. wow thats stupid. the only jumpable place is above the halfpipe near the beginning.
  20. Their is a reason for the Big Boulder forum...
  21. Today I was at bear from around 11 to 4. The beginning was extremely good, nicely groomed with good snow. The stall at the bottom of cascade is fun but it does need more of a lip. Also the jumps whould be less poppy. When I was leaving the conditions started to get icy but it wasnt too bad. Altogether today was a good day to be at bear.
