  1. Sometimes... It depends on what you're trying to market.
  2. Didn't notice anything this evening...
  3. Soooooooooooo. Snow next week ehh? Looks like it may happen out here on the western side of the state (I'm in Pittsburgh right now.) but the forecast is not good for the Lehigh Valley area. The 15 day on Accuweather for the north Philly burbs looks pretty warm, into the 60's through early November.

    New Ski Stoke!

It is a park ski! Actually, it is marketed as a park ski, which I think is pretty crazy. However, since it is only made in one size this ski is different things to different people. I'm 5'7" so for me this will hopefully be a real playful fat ski for all types of snow. For someone a little taller or someone who is Eric Pollard and has a ski made for every condition they want, it is a park ski. Its kind of a weird ski given the other things that are out there on the market, but I haven't ever heard anything bad about it. People say its really a lot of fun because its so buttery, but since its a sidewall construction it can still hold an edge. It is definitely not a charging ski, and if the need arises for that I'll probably get something a bit stiffer. Can't wait to ski it though! I can't wait to ski in general...

    New Ski Stoke!

No dice... Where are you planning on using those? To bomb Lazy? You're gonna be the second PASR member with a shattered femur in as many years...

    New Ski Stoke!

Scored some new skis today. Line Elizabeths. I've always wanted to try these out and now I can't wait. I'm gonna get some Marker Jesters on them and they should rip. They're designed by Eric Pollard like snowboards with a real tight turn radius, lots of width (139-110-137), and a relatively soft and even flex. He uses them mainly as his trick ski, but they get rave reviews for trees, tight spots, and jibbin' around. Check out Eric Pollard talking about this ski last year. This years model is unchanged other than graphics.
  8. Definitely a line that is talking about the Crystal Mountain portion of the show. No doubt that a lot of it is a bit over-sensationalized though. Hopefully the show will attract a good deal of people who don't know a ton about skiing and ski patrol. I feel like I know too much to watch it and take it seriously...
  9. Did anyone watch?
  10. New box is soooooo legit. Better quality than most resorts for sure.
  11. Good call. That article should read very differently...
  12. Can't take the heat get outa the kitchen... Messages boards in general have a reputation for being overly critical. Old news that people seem to grow a set as soon as then sit down at the keyboard. Well written and thought out posts might be taken seriously. Anything else will receive the same reception that yours did. Great show, bad analogy...
  13. Sadly one of Doug's rapping threads makes more sense than this...
  14. Also Upper and Lower Paradise now. Paradise is now two trails!!!
  15. I was actually at Michaels Crafts over the weekend, and they had a lot of cool posters and they were having a 50% off sale on all their prints. I picked up a really nice surfing one that is huge for like five bucks.
  16. Nah we got copyrighted. I just muted the audio. Should work shortly, although there will be no music. Try the vimeo link for now. I was told that since we're from Philly The Roots are like brothers, so they would understand, however in this case it looks like there was a misunderstanding...
  17. Sorry guys, looks like we got booted due to copyright. Maybe... I'll try to get a different song on the edit and get it back up for those needing to kill some time. http://vimeo.com/1796188 Try that for now... I can't embed vimeo on PASR I don't think. I'm not that tech savvy tho...
  18. all I need to say is the Mullet threw down. Fresh as shit no doubt.
  19. ding ding ding!
  20. oh wait....
  21. Little edit of some of us in Whistler in the springtime.
  22. Orage... Very very rarely on any kind of discount and not a ton of people carry a lot of it. I think its just about made to order.
  23. My recommendation would be to go for a real solid Gore-tex or similar shell (20k-30k), maybe with some light insulation like Primaloft. I've been riding a Sessions TNT for the past season now and really like it a lot. I've ridden it everywhere from Utah mid-dump, Whistler at 75 degrees, and in everything the weather throws at Blue, and while it was a bit hot in Whistler, it is an extremely versatile piece of gear. Just layer up with some good base layers on colder days and it provides the protection you need for the deeper snow. On the older hand, nothing beats a down coat like the puff jacket from Patagonia on a brutal cold day, but they don't offer nearly as much moisture protection in the deep stuff.
  24. You move?
