Skied them last season and it was an interesting experience. I really liked them for skiing rails and what not, but the version I had just didn't seem stiff enough for skiing harder. I was under that impression that the version I had is one of the stiffer models as well. That on top of having flop stick skis made for a setup that was just not at all what I normally prefer. I think I'm gonna check out something else for this season, possibly the Langes that Justin spoke of...

Roxy Black Magics then like Justo said. They were on Steep and Cheap not too long ago but I know that doesn't help now. I've had good times for the last few years on the guys version of that ski on both coasts and overseas...

A lot of companies right now seem to have fun women's lines. Salomon, K2, Line, Dynastar, Roxy, etc... I got my girlfriend K2 Missdemeanors, and she can't really imagine anything wider right now, even after a powder day at Utah. She is still getting used to powder skiing, but she really liked it after her low 70s waist ski. For such a light girl like you're girlfriend you might check out some of Lines stuff too.

Holy shit that is exactly where we skied the first day we were there! We took that little line just to skiers right of that big rock. Video and trip report are forthcoming. With the price of gas and everything else I've been super busy working. I'll get around to it ASAP.

What a freakin' maneuver. I've done it before though, although not quite to that magnitude. Luckily my bro and I were stuck at the airport cuz of the storm and he was able to reach me to let me know he forgot them. He didn't even remember he could call you! You will be handsomely repaid upon our return. It was a bit of a rough trip up to Whistler. Delayed forever in the airport because of the storm. Finally got out to Seattle after they put us on a direcAnt flight out of Philly which was nice to have after we were supposed to through Chicago. Picked up a pretty dope Nissan Armada for the price of a mid-size car. Under $400 for the week and a couple days. Anyway, got a speeding ticket only minutes before we got to the border where I missed the speed limit sign and thought the speed limit was still 70. Office Dick (real name) said that I was going 15 over, "gave me a break" and gave me a ticket for $100 for going 5 mph over. THEN, we got to the border and were detained for a while while they ran deeper background checks on all 6 of us. He had to get out and wait in the customs center for a while and then they finally let us go. I've never stopped at the border. Weird... Finally made it up to Whistler a lil bit later. We have an awesome room and I'll make another post real soon. I always look at trip reports and think they're lame. I wonder if this looks as dumb as I think it does...

We should have wi-fi at the place we got so I'll be posting up pics and maybe some video over the next week. Right now I've been sitting in the airport with my bro all day during this stupid rain/wind storm. All kinds of delays, cancellations, etc... but if finally looks like we'll be getting out of here in about an hour. Just got in touch with Dan Sobey after not hearing from him for a few days, and hopefully we get a big rental vehicle so he doesn't have to roll up from Seattle in the Greyhound. We're gonna do a slow ride up to Whistler tomorrow and making some stops in Seattle and along the way to explore because my girlfriend is coming and she has never been out there before. I have a free upgrade coupon for our rental car so hopefully we can get something pretty baller like the new Pathfinder we got last year. I'm hoping that with $4.00 gas no one will want the bigger SUV's and we can pick one of those up. Next stop, Seattle! Soooo stoked!

Looks like so much fun. Wish I had a rail garden right outside my dorm in school. and welcome back!

I have a bike rack that I am no longer able to use that is just taking up space. My family used this for a few years when my brother and I had more conventional bikes. It fits a 2" hitch receiver, and will easily carry up to 4 bikes. If you are creative with how you mount the bikes on the racks you can get many different styles of bikes on (ladies bikes, cruisers, kids bikes, etc...) Follow the link below to check it out. http://www.bikerackking.com/infofolddown.htm Looking to get in the ballpark of $100, but will consider any offer.

Ya that was kinda the deal that pissed me off a little bit. At one point they were handing out some skullcandy (a company that supports both boarders and skiers) earphones at one of the features, and this big crew of skiers was absolutely slaying it to the point that a lot of the boarders were just watching and givin' props to a lot of the skiers. There were barely any boarders dropping in on the feature, and the guy was standing there saying boarders only over and over. I could understand if they were giving out a snowboard or a pair of skis and wanted them to go to a boarder or skier, but for the swag type event this was with stuff just being thrown out and the best trick format there was no reason for the boarder only thing, especially when not followed by a skier only feature.

Ya sorry to seem bitter and rain on what was a real fun time and great setup, but its just the same old story. They didn't have any ski sponsors so it makes sense that there wouldn't really be any skier-oriented prizes. It does seem like the skier turnout is getting better and better though, so hopefully we'll start seeing some more love.

Ok we're gonna do a comp for some of the better prizes on the hill! boarders only....... THEME OF THE DAY.... I gotta get outa here....

You list your home mountain as Bear Creek... Even though Snow doesn't have some of the vert or steep that other places in Vermont have, its proximity and fun runs more than make up for it. My family and I used to go there and Okemo fairly often back in high school. I always dug the bump run they play music on.

You got that right Mr.! You must be a thrifty shopper! hiphy hiphy hiphy hiphy! Unreasonable offers like this will be deleted. This type of sh*t is just plain disrespectful on a family site like this.

It could if you wanted it to be...

Orage track jacket type thing. Free with purchase of knife! Second picture of Orage jacket. Dope knife. Fondly referred to for many years as the "Jaquar." Will go to person with the best offer, but due to sentimental value this beauty will not go cheaply. Thanks for looking!!!! (Don't forget that the coat comes with the knife! You don't even see sh*t like this on QVC!!!)

Haha shit is wild. I gotta get outa PA.

Or just roll up to Whistler for a week in May. At least $1000 cheaper and just as good. I do want to get to NZ at some point though...
